The hotel is not super modern but it is squeaky clean and the staff is available and very friendly. Our room had a king bed with a water view. The bathroom and room itself were spotless and clean when we arrived. Nice fresh sheets and towels. The mini fridge kept our stuff ice cold. The air conditioner worked great. TV worked great too. Our issue that prevented us from leaving a 5 star review is the no pet policy and people who abuse it. The man who checked in right after us and into the room right next to us stated to the staff when he arrived with his dog that it was a service dog leaving the hotel no option but to allow him and his dog to stay. We saw no problem with it until the man left the dog in the room for hours two nights in a row barking loudly and whining. We asked to have our room moved but the property was full. We couldn't sit outside, we couldn't move around in our room, couldn't have a conversation - any move we made caused the dog to get louder and louder. The staff called the dog's owner and he said the dog would quiet down and that he had medicated it. We are assuming this man figured out we complained (he had a corner unit there was no one else next to him but us) because he then proceeded to park right in front of and almost against our front door even though he had two parking spots empty and in front of his room. We felt, and still feel bad, for the dog and are in no way bashing service dogs. His owner was irresponsible and rude.

The staff was awesome. King room with view was amazing. You wake up open the curtains to a special view of the Connecticut River along with birds and squirrels playing in the trees. There are chairs already for you outside as well so you can take in the quiet beauty with fresh air.

Staff is wonderful. I let them know of late arrival and they were accommodating. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Room: Flooring, mattress, bathroom and chair stained and dated. Tiny bathroom initially had a shower curtain that drained the water on the tiled floor. NO HOT WATER for am shower. Must have shared water heater, recommend showering at night! Hair dryer literally shot plastic out of it in use. Staff replaced it and the shower curtain after a written complaint was left. Decent rate. I would not stay here with a family. Would consider short stay in a pinch for a safe place to overnight.

Gorgeous lake view

Super close to Hanover - stunning view of the river. Simple and easy place to stay. Quiet. A bit dated

Every expense has been spared at this property. For the price, a terrible value. The room was advertised with a river view. That mean a small window at head height looking out through the trees. There were some rusted chairs outside to sit in, not very appealing.

Pictures are misleading. Bedbugs.

It was a convenient location with a great water view. The window in our room was very wide so you could enjoy the water view. The rooms were very clean and the king size bed was very comfortable!! There was a large screen television which was easy on the eyes. We were happy that there was a refrigerator and a microwave in the room. They also provided breakfast every morning from 7-9 am. They were also the best rates in the location. A nice play to stay. The staff was very helpful and nice.

The only small shortcoming was that one bedside lamp didn't work. I just moved to the other side. But if I had been sharing the room, it would have been an annoyance, though I felt that it would have been corrected if I had asked. The breakfast was the usual motel selection. An extra perk was the view of the river from my room. The sunset was glorious.

Close proximity to Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital. The room was clean and comfortable but nothing fancy. The bathroom could use a refresh but it was clean. The owners were super nice and accommodating with my hospital schedule and let us have a late checkout.
