This hotel was the worst place I've ever been to. Not only was I not informed about the deposit being double the amount of the room until after I paid for the reservation, when I got to the hotel and was short on the deposit, the guy working was beyond rude, and heartless and plain ignorant to me. He canceled my reservation, he refused to give me any documents, he told me he didn't care about what I wanted or my situation and was a horrible person. The fact that he was so comfortable treating me like garbage, says a lot about the business itself. Do not waste your money on this place. Stay somewhere where your business is appreciated. This place is horrible.

I reserved the room and had to cancel due to no 100 dollar deposit was mentioned prior to physically checking in. Which I may add I still have not received my refund.

La habitación estaba muy limpia y era cómoda. El personal fue amable y servicial durante toda mi estancia. El aparcamiento era cómodo y accesible. En general, tuve una experiencia excelente.

Not bad at all. The staff was very helpful.

Super cute & helpful staff. Great location! If we ever come through the area again, we will stay here again!

Everything was simple and clean and as advertised.

Clean basic room. Or tv didn't work but we were just there for the night so it didn't bother me because for the price, it was at least clean!

The location is one of the better things about this motel. It's not far from downtown, and everything we needed was within a short drive. The staff was polite and professional, and we have no complaints about their service. Unfortunately, the room itself was a major disappointment. It was extremely dark, making it feel uninviting, and there was a strong musty smell throughout the room. The wall-mounted AC unit near the floor was visibly dirty inside, with a noticeable buildup of dust and grime. That made us question the overall cleanliness of the room. The bed linens also looked old and well worn, even though they appeared to be clean. The bathroom and shower were actually in good condition. They were clean, worked properly, and we had no issues there. Another downside was the laundry room. The washers and dryers require payment, but there was no laundry detergent available for guests, which was inconvenient. The biggest issue came the next morning when we found a roach in our room. That alone was enough to make us uncomfortable for the rest of our stay. We're honestly not sure how this motel maintains such a high rating. Maybe other guests had a different experience, but based on ours, the room simply did not reflect an 8/10 property. The location and staff deserve credit, but the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall condition of the room need significant improvement before we would consider staying here again.

I reached out to hotels.com to get a refund, and was told that the City Inn denied my refund request because their policy states check ends at 10 pm. When I asked hotels.com how I was supposed to know that when it wasn’t included in the listing. I was told it would’ve been emailed to me. And I discovered it was, at 4:57 pm the day of my reservation when I was already getting onto the road to drive to the hotel. I have reached out to the City Inn about the issue, but have gotten no response. So the hotel took my money, would not let me check in to the hotel when I arrived, and then denied my request for a refund after they wouldn’t let me check in. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

My first night was terrible, rooms are extremely small, smells like marihuana, like old urinated carpet, toilet old and dirty, TV small, fridge not cold at all, so I decided to leave and spend my next two nights somewhere else, when I was leaving a couple I ran into outside was waiting for the lobby to open and cancel their second night because of the same reason. I asked if I could cancel my other 2 nights and they said, policy says you can check out early but they keep the money, along with a nasty attitude from Christy one of the cleaners, if you have any questions you can to talk to my mánager to see if she can do something for you but she is never onsite, so I did not quite understand why she was so triggered. Long story short I said okay I’m not checking out in case I’m in the city hanging out and far from the other place since I booked north due prices and they took it the wrong way they said they needed the key back cause I already booked somewhere else, then the guy that cleans yelled at me saying that I could not do that, i said I was not gonna check out and just keep my dates I’m not from town… they called the cops on me and hid, they closed the office and went to hide, cops called me to check on me since the situation looked suspicious, I made a report on them too, at the end the manager showed up just to defend them, these people have no ethics and looks like they always have this issue

The room itself was clean and in nice order. After my 2 kids showered we found a cockroach on the wall. I could not sleep there. Went to the office to check out and it was closed. Called the number on the door, lady that answered said it was weird because they spray for them all the time. She would talk to manager about refund. I called 2 and 5 days later to talk to manager and still haven’t heard anything, it’s now 3 weeks later. It’s an okay place if you’re okay with bugs.

I had cool tea instead of iced tea. This wasn't a big deal, but if you're having cocktails in your room, you may have issues. Otherwise a perfect stay. The room was clean, the bathroom was clean, and the blackout curtains were better than I'm used to. I got a great recommendation for dinner from the desk clerk.
