Ocean Promenade Hotel

King suite was comfortable. Staff were very helpful Refrigerator in kitchen was a hazard and barely useable. Door opened wrong direction, making it extremely difficult to put food in or get it out. Likely the door will get broken or someone will injure themselves trying to maneuver around the door in limited space. Staff informed, but they could not make change. This was a very bad owner decision/problem. This will impact older guests and large size guests.

The room was large and comfortable and the staff very helpful. We felt lucky to get a place as most were full. They are located on the seafront and would be an excellent place for families to stay but we were just tired from a long overseas trip. Noise from the air con that must have been close to our room. Price of the room was quite steep.

The view Dog hair everywhere, dishwasher full of dishes, old food in sink drain, food left in cupboard, crack in transition strip in hallway husband cut foot. When told front desk didn't seem to care just took off our parking fee,

Rooms are really quiet. We worried that there would be Street noise etc. But it was very, very we quiet. Rooms are also very clean. And the beds are comfortable. Our room was on the first floor and we didn't really have view much of a view. We probably should have spent a little more if we wanted a view. Other than that everything was fine.

Location and big room

Location is excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were quiet and peaceful. We had fruitflies in the room even after the cleaners came in to spray. They were many and just one spray and clean would not be enough. The cobwebs up around the ceiling were thick and had obviously been there a long time.

Very nice suite overlooking the water. Comfortable bed. Good coffee shop open in the morning. Our room also overlooked a very busy train track between the hotel and the sea, with regular trains all night. For the price a light complimentary breakfast would been appropriate.

We were able to check and park our vehicle in before the designated time. As with most hotels the toilets are too low for seniors.
