Room was nice, warm. Staff helpful and friendly
-
Clean & comfy room, friendly and helpful staff, and loved the history of the building converted to a hotel.
-
The room was clean, but the thing that stood out was the attention given to us by the staff. They were always friendly asking if everything was great and was there anything we needed we would definitely stay there again.

No closest, no where to hang up clothes, were there for 3 days. No iron/ironing board, no lamp on nightstand, giant fluorescent tube light was the only light. Ac/heat didn’t work. Called their full size bed, a queen, it isn’t, I measured it. Not a 5 star hotel

We can’t wait to stay there again. We loved how high tech our room was. We especially liked that our room was previously the history class. Great hotel!!
-
The room was immaculate! The staff is amazing! Beds are so comfortable too! Restaurant and bar are wonderful as well! I can’t say enough about this hotel! There is so much to discover about this unique gem in WV! Highly recommend and can’t wait to stay again!

The staff so far is amanzing and the food is great .

Great renovation! We loved our room and enjoyed 2 sunsets from the rooftop bar. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was excellent!
-
No electric, no plumbing and worst of all no response from you!
-
Many conveniences in the guest room do not work. On top of that we woke up to no power in the morning. No lights, the shades on the windows would not open because they are electric. The staff at the front desk had no information,PERIOD!

Room was nice with lots of technology. The WiFi did not work during my entire stay. The hotel was not aware I had prepaid through Expedia, so I had to show my receipt. When doing so, we realized my room rate from Expedia was $24 higher, even after applying a small amount of Key cash.

The hotel itself was beautiful and the staff seemed very friendly. The room was clean which is my top priority. The reason for my low score is because the hotel overcharged me. Upon booking I elected to pay the full fee at the hotel. Two weeks after booking the hotel charged me $145 without notice and when confronted said it was their policy to charge a one night fee for a deposit. That left me with a balance of $291 to be paid upon arrival. The week before I was to arrive the hotel charged me $391, taking it out of my bank account without notice. After arriving the hotel reversed the $391 charge but immediately recharged it. Then at checkout I was told the system would charge me $291 but they gave me a credit of $291 to offset it. That means they still owe me $100. After getting home I checked my bank account and saw that again there was another $391 charge! I was livid and called them about it. A credit of $391 was made back to my bank but still I have paid $100 more than I should. If you book with this hotel please keep an eye on your banking account. If their accounting had not been so shady this could have been a 5 plus star hotel.

Very friendly staff, Unique hotel with lots of history and charm. Hotel is very handicap friendly and very tech savvy. Charming bar area. I would stay here and visit Greembirar as it is over three times the cost and right down the street.

The Schoolhouse offers a unique place to stay in White Sulphur Springs. It is truly a converted school with tons of charm and modern conveniences. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is great. Very near the Greenbrier.
-
Nice updated modern rooms with a taste of the past history of the school reflected in unique ways.
-
We had a great start . My only complaint is that the bed is pretty small. Thankfully, I am petite and so is my 13 yo daughter.. But even for us it was tight. I did request a room change with a larger bed but they were unable to accommodate me due to being at capacity. Otherwise, service was excellent and facility itself was very unique
-
Super weird. They put a massive additional charge on my card and couldn't explain why. Wouldn't recommend.
-
I love that all the property is handicap accessible and that it is so modern! The food is exceptional and the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were fun with all the high tech equipment.
-
The Expedia listing said no charge for pets but the online registration and the desk person said it was $50. I picked it based on the free pet, and after speaking with the owners they did not charge me. (They were very friendly) We enjoyed the rooftop bar and would recommend the hotel to anyone.

Nice hotel, but two issues. The WiFi was nonfunctional. Also, I paid through Expedia but the hotel charged me as well, so now I'm working to get the charge removed.
