Holiday Inn Express & Suites Indianapolis NW - Zionsville by IHG

This was the second time in a row that I stayed here and there was a soccer tournament in town. The hotel was full so I did not get the top floor room I requested, also for the second time in a row. The kids in both instances were noisy and running up and down the hallways and in the rooms and they sounded like elephants. And it seemed they all went to breakfast at the same time...hanging out in the breakfast area after they were done, with no place for others to sit. Some additional parental supervision would go a long way and also be cognizant that others want to have breakfast too...eat and move on please.

This hotel is in a great location, close to many shopping and and restaurant options. Plus, the hotel is a very nice one.

Everything was great except for a short period of time when the elevator was out of order.

the location was excellent. It was convenient to everything we needed. The staff were friendly. The room was clean and the bathroom was roomy.

A great place to stay. Spacious rooms, comfortable bed with a keurig in room and a wonderful breakfast buffet with lots of seating.

I requested a room on the first floor for my mother, as she uses a walker or a scooter. I called on THREE different occasions before our stay and was told a first floor room would be reserved and that there were plenty. Of course when we got there, no one knew what I was talking about. Our room was on the third floor but we were reassured that “at least the elevator is working”. The next day, the elevator went out. We could get my mom down the stairs but she would not be able to get back up to the room without the elevator. So my mom missed our activities for the night, the whole reason we were even in Indiana! An employee that night then offered a room on the first floor, so we took it. At 11pm my sons and I moved all of our things, and my mom, down to the first floor. I requested to speak to a manager multiple times, was told they would be in in the morning, but of course, they were not. I left my phone number for them to call, and a week later, I still have not heard anything. The lack of response, responsibility and customer service was ridiculous. I would not recommend this facility.

Dirty hotel, broken elevators, dirty pool, horrible breakfast. Never again will I stay at a Holiday inn

Staff kindly offered to place us at another local hotel as the elevator was out-of-order, but glad we stayed

Clean room, girl at check-in was helpful. Elevator was broken so we had to carry luggage to third floor. Pool is small but ok. Could use some cleaning on concrete around pool, green algae had grown right where you put your hands on the pool edge. We didn't have a sign to let housekeeping know we were going for breakfast and not to clean our room and they were working on the rooms by us. We felt rushed to grab our items and put them in the car before eating. Breakfast was good if you could maneuver around the female employees so busy talking about the one lady's boyfriend, not appropriate in front of my child! Nice hotel but probably look for another place next time due to the employees at breakfast being such a turn off.
