Very good place and relaxing for my family vacation.

Will stay again

Check in was torturous almost an hour on line with only 2 agents on 4 th of July holiday week. Then again 1 girl on desk when I went to get my key changed Yet the concierge desk always had 3 people and never any customers at that desk… two guys opening the door… seems like they are staffing the wrong areas at the wrong times and Bobby is cross trained…. Bad look for a nice resort

This is always our go to spot to vacation. Williamsburg, VA is beautiful and Powhaten Resorts is a home away from home. We love it!
-
Beautiful grounds, super pool area, lovely colonial setting.
-
Everything is extremely spread out and hard to get to . Be prepared to drive to the pool .

Property was great, staff was odd. Not rude but not friendly.
-
Upon check-in, I had to stand in line for approximately 30 minutes. I understand I paid for my room through Expedia, and I thought this was a timeshare place, but I have checked in at Wyndham properties before, where the wait was far less. There is nothing like standing in line to check in with 4 people (including kids) waiting in the car after we had just finished a full day of activities and wanted to shower. The staff were slow, rude, and in no hurry. Very disappointed for a Hilton property.

Clean, quiet and beautiful place to relax and a perfect getaway. I would definitely come back.

Im disappointed that Hilton honors would not provide my earned points because I booked my stay through a 3rd party. They wanted me to spend 2 hours of my vacation time to sit in front of high pressure sales staff to get me to signed up for a time share. No way no how. Sad to say, they sent me any email to earn points on a different stay, not the one I was at.

This was our second time staying . The property is well maintained and has a lot of activities especially for kids . The rooms are big and comfortable . Our past stay we had very good service . We arrived early on 4th of July and were hoping to check in early . The lady was very helpful and empathetic to our situation . We were allowed to check in 3 hours early and were upgraded to a 2 bedroom. Another nice feature is you get your own designated parking space so you don’t have to worry about hunting down a parking spot . We go to Williamsburg at least once a year and this is our new go to!

Everything was amazing.

When we checked into our room, the air conditioning was set to 74. The room was 78 degrees. We set the ac to the lowest setting(68°) and it never got below 79 the rest of the evening. We called for someone to come look at it, they sent someone while we were at dinner. When we got back the room was still 79° with the ac set to full cold. We asked the front desk about it and they said that because it is so hot outside that the air system cant keep up with the heat. This is the second time we have stayed at this resort and the AC not work correctly. They need to spend the money to upgrade the system where it can cool the rooms properly. Also the parking situation is terrible. They only have 1 assigned spot per unit that can sleep up to 6 people. It became an issue when some others drove 4 vehicles and they only had 2 spots. We had to call security multiple time to get a spot for us.

Friendly staff rooms were clean & spacious

They have done a great job at making the resort grounds look amazing and our stay was great!
-
The resort is amazing. We had some much fun. Great for families. So close to everything. Loved it a lot.
-
We really loved our two bedroom unit. It was the perfect size for our family of five very clean and well-maintained. It had all the things for us to be able to cook a meal which was really nice. The only thing we didn’t enjoy that much was the swimming pool. It was so crowded and although there is an outdoor bar and I’m sure that lots of people enjoy that it creates kind of a belligerent hostile environment for families and we didn’t care for that at all.
-
Everything was nice. We had a one bedroom with 32 floors and had to take a flight of stairs to the first floor. This was different for us. The neighbors complained that we walked too hard and there were only two of us. We tried after that to walk lighter. Overall are stay was great.

It was amazing very helpful staff

The first unit we were checked into was noticeably dirty, old, musty, buggy, and needed attention. However, the property quickly addressed this and moved us to a much nicer cleaner renovated unit. No other issues except the 2nd unit was missing washcloths. We had to ask for these. Overall, I’d hesitate to recommend only because of the pretty big discrepancy in the condition of the units. If you get a renovated unit, it’s great. If you get a unit like the first one, not so much. A side note-The lobby registration area is delightful.
