Hilton Vacation Club The Historic Powhatan Williamsburg

One of the nicest places J have ever stayed. Staff was excellent and treated me like vip . Definitely would stay longer if I ever go there again.

Wonderful place. Grounds were very well maintained and clean. Room was clean and nice.

The pictures in the advertisement is very misleading. There was no hot water in one of the bathrooms. There was a flight of stairs to drag our suitcase up, no warning about it. There was only one person at the counter at check-in time.

This is a lovely property so close to Williamsburg.

Older condos, clean but our hot water heater had to be replaced as well as icemaker. Icemaker still did not work when we checked out. Great food at onsite restaurant but not enough help. Only 1 server for breakfast- people were walking out. Property was beautiful. Fun pool & mini golf. When Front Desk was told about issues above their answer was- oh we just dont have enough help since school is back in. No offer to discount or refund for inconvenience. Really disappointed with this Hilton property.

I am impressed with the new upgrades and new paint. The patio is great. The staff was very polite and helpful. Overall I love the Powatan Resort. Very beautiful.

This was my 2nd time starting here and just line the first it was amazing. The only thing I wish was that the balcony was a bit cleaner from all the leaves and spider webs. Beds were comfy and showers amazing! If you plan on coming at night though do be aware finding your unit can be a little difficult .

Nice location close by everything Cockroach ate our food our order food and went back under table called front desk nice guy came and trapped the roach and put traps through the the condo we checked out early because of the situation but everything else was great hopefully we will be back for better experience next time

Check-in was a little cumbersome, as there was only one individual available to check in multiple people resulting in a long line. After check in, the stay was much better. For those traveling with older individuals with less mobility, it may be a bit difficult to get around the sprawling grounds and stairs in some units. With that being said, I would absolutely stay here again! I do recommend this property!

Our home away from home...

So the hotel are like townhomes . We had the upper level of the townhome which was quite spacious . Big rooms plus dining area , faux fireplace , kitchenette and full size refrigerator and 2 bathrooms . For the price we paid —it’s a great deal especially if you come as a big family . I just thought despite the attempt for being modern it did look a little dated . Lighting in the rooms could be better . Because it’s huge, I imagine it’s hard to maintain and clean and it was dusty in some areas . We did not use the kitchenette but they provided soap/trash bags etc and the refrigerator was spacious . Front desk staff however was kind and helpful —gave recommendations and were very professional . We accidentally left a laptop and they said they will mail it to us . So that was definitely something we are grateful for . It’s located next to historic Williamsburg which was a plus and exterior part and grounds look amazing . Ac was working great . You could not hear the noise from the lower level when you are upstairs but as you enter you share a common entry to the townhome with the visitors below and could hear them .

I loved the space the rooms offered and the playground that was right by our room.

Very nice property and great amenities, clean pools and also had a hot tub that children could get in by indoor pool which is a bonus, staff was nice. We stayed in 1 bedroom with loft and the kids loved the loft area. I rated this property a 4/5 vs 5/5 because they charge a $200 hold/ refundable deposit which seems higher than other similar properties which has been 0-$150 for the similar properties we have stayed at in the area It also had very squeaky floors which was annoying when the kids were asleep. Otherwise it was fantastic! I would not recommend the room with loft for families with children under 5. There are very steep steps that are by the main area inside the room. I’m sure a lower level without steps would be fine! Great value for the money! Will stay here again.

The amenities are what you'd find at summer camp. You can check out old board games, etc and they have a restaurant on site but it looks very dated and the food is pretty mediocre but priced similarly to what you'd see at a major urban hotel. On the third day, cleaning staff entered our room while we were out site seeing for the day and left our door wide open. We returned, called the desk, they sent security and the only response was "sometimes the doors swell"... okay, but you couldn't have pushed it shut? Checkout staff, Amanda was a little rude. We ended up dropping the keys at the box at the front gate instead of dealing with her further. Wouldn't recommend. We aren't hard to please, so when I say we wouldn't recommend it's a legitimate caution.

We enjoyed our stay and regretted not staying the entire time while in Virginia.
