The hot breakfast buffet was great. Friendly staff. The room was on the top floor and large. I would definitely stay here again.

Cute room that feels old fashioned / historic. The bathroom was a Very small Water Closet with the sink in the main room. Free breakfast was generally decent, about what you expect from a full breakfast buffet at a 3* hotel. Worth going to over the other chains in the area. Pool is small but 9ft deep. Room was clean, the active maintenance work occurring on other floors is kept to normal waking hours. It looks like theyre working very hard to maintain the old hotel charm while keeping up with modern needs. I would recommend bringing a power strip, there are not enough outlets in the old rooms.

Very nice Hotel. Full breakfast was wonderful

The property is going through a major renovation, which it clearly needs. But when we arrived, they put us in a room that had a queen bed or a double bed - I’m not sure - but I booked a king. So I went back down and they did give me a king room… there was literally a gravel type dirt on the air conditioning unit as well as on a chair that had torn upholstery and stain on the cushion.

I love the old fashion feel of this hotel. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast excellent. The pool was crystal clear and well maintained. The location was a bonus. Many places to walk to in the downtown setting. The hotel provides off street parking. What's not to like!

Great hotel with lots of history. They are remodeling and there is a lot of exposed ceilings but if you can look past that and appreciate the rich history you will wnjoy. Its walking distance to a lot of restaurants and even has one on site.

Great location, front desk staff evening was great. Restaurant/bar staff were great, on site parking great, breakfast exceptional! Rooms are really outdated, musty smells abound.

If you like older, solid buildings, then this is the perfect place for you

Currently doing a multimillion dollar renovation. Can't wait to see it brought back to original details. I love old hotels and this didn't disappoint. The breakfast buffet was the best I've had at a hotel. I'll be back next time I'm in town.

I love old hotels and frequent several. Most of the older hotels lack some amenities for business travelers, like microwaves, refrigerator, and irons. The Genettti has all those. The hotel refurbishment is still a work in progress. The restaurant, the halls, the meeting rooms and the rooms are renovated, but they are fixing up the lobby ceiling and doing a great job. The breakfast buffett was one of the best ones I've had, especially at this price point.

This was a spur of the moment change of plans in our travels.What a most plesant treat,We love history and this place is undergoing a major renovation.So not pretty but interesting to see the restoration in process.Breakfast Buffet,10+++Amazing.We also had a lovely dinner made to order.Every employee that helped us knew about great friendly service.The note left on our nightstand...a blessing from the hotel.I believe there are very few places in America that provide this level of Greatness.

Excellent breakfast!

The bed was really great--nice and firm. I slept for 9 hours. The lighting in the room was not great for working at the desk--overhead light and one on the other side of the bed, but none at the desk.

We did not stay, we did not feel safe. We took the loss and found a different hotel. It smelled, the room we had was outside on the first floor by the pool, the people were interesting, we did not feel safe
