Dirty room jets in hot tub didn't work no ice machine
-
A once great hotel has been neglected for a long time
-
The breakfast was served on glass dishes, the food was cold, and they were understaffed.
-
Stayed there 2 months ago and the AC didn't work and had to switch rooms tried to stay again the AC was not working and the room had a portable AC unit that made the room tolerable but not comfortable, also found out when booking through Expedia they charge a service fee on top of the Expedia rate.

Facilities are reasonable. Reasonably well maintained. Rooms are good size. Hot breakfast is actually very good. Good value for this facility.

The first room we were given, was not clean, back down to the front desk and got a new room....when we got into the new room, the nightstand must have needed repair as it was pulled out with vices on it and a mess behind it. The bathroom had no towels to take a shower and when you turned off the AC, water poured out of it into the room. Terrible experience.
-
Unfortunately our shower had very little pressure, there was no internet which meant no TV, older room with areas of pealing on the wall covering. They gave us 25% for the internet being down off but even with that the room was $200 for one night. Was expecting more for the price.

Hot tub broken. We found a box for a vibrator in the sofa sleeper. Tv was not plugged in. Needs a big time face lift.

Spent about 5 minutes looking over the room and asked for a refund which thankfully they were willing to do. There was spider webs, a fly, 1 of the window latch handles was snapped off, duct tape type residue around the windows, a decent layer of dust on the shelf above the closet hanger area, the bathroom door didn't open all the way because it hit the toilet, the beds were made but not clean(fuzz from clothes, a couple hairs, sweat stained pillows) this place is no where near worth the $500 they charge for a weekend at least not room 170.

This property is extremely outdated. We had wood on our windows with a portable air conditioner taking up space in the room. The pool was dirty with clumps of hair on the pool bottom. The whirlpool was broken during our stay, but it was disgusting looking anyway. It looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Vending machines not in working order. Hotel manager actually said "I'm sorry those machines are neglected, we prefer you use the hotel store". Beds were uncomfortable and the room was in rough shape. Walls and ceiling was significantly cracked and showed the hotel's aage. The advertised chefs prepared breakfast was a room with a self serve make your own waffle machine and some questionable hot eggs, bacon and potatoes. For the price we paid for the room I expected a much better experience. I will not return to this place.

Bathtub didn't drain. No plug if wanted a bath. Left stuff in refrigerator from previous occupant. Painted peeling everywhere.
-
There was no TV service when I stayed. I was disappointed in that.
-
Great location. Good breakfast. Good on-site bar. Way overpriced for its aging condition
-
Room had temporary AC unit which did not work well. Had no other rooms to move me. Next morning carpet all wet from AC unit. Came back that evening where they moved me to another room, which was dirty. I have short hair, crew cut, and there were long black hairs everywhere. Shower was full of them. Not a very clean place to stay.

Nothing really. Breakfast was empty and not replenished

Such a beautiful place and great staff!!
-
The staff was very accommodating. The room was comfortable and quiet. The continental breakfast was very good.
-
Room really needed some deep cleaning. Dusty lamps and tabletops. Had to call the front desk, as there were no blankets or pillow for the pull out couch, and we had three people in the room. Hallways and elevator needed vacuuming. Very noticeable dirt in places. Very tired and worn appearance everywhere. Bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning unit needs updating. Continental breakfast was lukewarm. Best spot was the Grand Avenue Tavern! Great atmosphere, live music. Staff was very accommodating. Great food!

Room was under getting a new AC unit. Bathroom vent didn't work, Bathroom door wouldn't latch and for some reason the bathroom light switch wouldn't shut the light off. #358. Otherwise comfortable.
