Rapids Inn and Suites

They are in the middle of updating I guess. When we got there we had to wait about 30 mins or so because they were still working on our room. Then they were going to give us a room without a key so we would have to go to the office to get their key. After waiting all the time they decided the room still wasn’t ready so they gave us a different room in the middle building which there was a huge spider web across the whole entrance that I don’t see and I have a fear of spiders and had to strip when I got to my room because there were spiders crawling all over me. Ugh went to take a shower and saw the black mold on the ceiling. Very disturbed to say the least.

This is a very old facility with very old everything. There was feces stains in our toilet and stains on our towels. The sheets were stained and the room smelled very musty. Very in need of remodel. Will not stay here again.

Was clean, nice room and bedding. Amenities were slim. Just refridge and small microwave. No coffee maker. Long plumbing feed from hot water heater to secondary building meant it took a while to get hot water in the shower, but was fine when it came. Small size TV, but did have a full gamut of Spectrum cable TV service, which is rather uncommon in hotels and very welcomed. We were able to watch the Brewers game and Golf channel, which is not normally possible in a lot of hotels. Convenient location to Lake Arrowhead and Sand Valley golf (16 minute drive straight up HWY 13). If you just want something basic for a good nights sleep (was very quiet) and don't want to pay a lot of money for amenities, this is the best fit and closest lodging to the golf courses for under $100.

Friendly staff, very helpul The location and the accommodation disappointed me a bit; the reception area was very outdated. The room also looked outdated, though everything did work. However, the Wi-Fi in our room was terrible. This location also has permanent residents who stare at you and follow you when you unpack the car or leave your room. This feels a bit unsafe.

Owners are attempting to renovate the property, but the rooms should not be rented out until they are done!! Plastering had been done in our room and it had not been dusted. Dust was on the bedrolls, door handles, floor moldings, etc. Towels were updated, but sheets were worn. Refrigerator was updated. Price was great, but that was the only thing, I suggest people check their room before committing to it.

The room resembled a crime scene with blood on the bed, what appeared to be vomit on the floor, among other bodily fluids. The smell was horrible. The door to the room was left wide open, as were the windows with no screens.

The location and staff were great. We didn't have a key card to let ourselves into our room. The first night we were there the bathroom sink flooded out into our room. The heater hardly worked and we barely had hot water. It was the worst weekend we've had in Rapids.

Room smelled like urine. Towels and bed linens not clean, carpet stained. No cabinet floor under sink, water damage. Furniture stained.

Place is a dump. Parking lot full of immigrants getting drunk. Place is actually scary! Rooms were pitiful. Sagging mattress, dirty carpet, no kleenex, poor lighting.

You had to ask for clean towels, linen change, toilet paper.

Hotel was clean and I didn't have to worry about noise from other guests.

It was just not correct I was there for about 2 1/2 hours and I sat on the bed and a roach ran over the bed and I saw a couple on the floor. I did not feel comfortable. There was leftover food left in the microwave. The covers were dingy. I asked for my money back and they wouldn’t give me it.

Every night, I walked into my room, and it reeked of cigarettes. I talked to the front desk about changing my room.And they refused, so I asked for a refund, and they told me no no refunds. And then he told me if you want a refund, call the cops.

Close to stores and fast food restaurants Not a good area , lots of residents who live there monthly
