Charming, clean and friendly place!

Absolute gem on the edge of.downtown. super walkable everywhere in terms of shopping, and within a 5 min drive to less pricier food options away from downtown. Jessica was an amazing and gracious host. The oatmeal with maple syrup, apples and walnuts was the quintessential Vermont start to the day. So many unique touches in terms of aesthetics made it feel homey yet held to the character of a nearly 200 year old home. Stay here.

Gorgeous spot, right in the heart of Woodstock. So glad we picked it!!! Would love to go back!

Great place to live and the owner is very friendly!
-
Fairly centrally located, just a short walk to downtown area. Nice room.
-
WiFi not working, no cell-phone coverage, bathtub drain clogged. Asked to move car out of property and parking outside the very next morning after arrival

Great location, close to easy nature walks (river and Mt. Peg), good food (Farmer&Bell donuts, Worthy Kitchen) and cute town, short drive to Mt. Tom and Billings Farm. Delicious simple breakfast, friendly services, comfy bed for 2 slim people, good shower, good wifi. Room didn't have a table, but you can sit in the breakfast room to read/work on laptop, with nice music in background and you can make yourself a tea. Convenient parking behind the inn. The bedroom window was painted shut, and the bathroom window didn't have a screen, which meant you couldn't enjoy the fresh air with the light on. The blinds were old and hard to operate. Half the ceiling in the upstairs room was slanted, so a tall person couldn't use that side of the bed. Steep stairs were fine for us, but keep that in mind. Other than that, all was great.

Continental bf, was hoping for full bnb experience, but they run the operations really well and have nothing to complain about. Location is excellent and the stay was pleasant. One small thing, clogged drains somehow slipped their otherwise excellent eye for detail. -Mr.

The location and the price! The Inn Keeper was so gracious and friendly! Breakfast was scrumptious!! It’s just a bit loud at times due to being an old farmhouse …

This was the cutest little bed and breakfast. The staff was lovely, the check-in was easy, and we had a great time in Woodstock!

We will definitely stay there again Nothing at all. The Vesper exceeded our expectations. Very nice Inn. Pleasant stay.

It was walking distance to great cafes, stores, restaurants, and hiking trails. The mattress was comfortable and the room was large and clean. It was easy to check in and out. The room was on the Main Street and although we found a sound machine, it was not easy to sleep with the noise. The towels were old (fraying). Breakfast was only offered from 8-9 which is a quick, early window for people on vacation.

Lovely old house, firm and comfortable bed, great location, delicious breakfast, easy check-in, friendly host. We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again!

stairs to second floor were a bit difficult for a wonky knee.
-
They were kind enough to accommodate our late arrival. I would have liked a broader breakfast menu, and the hot water pipe right beside the bed was clicking loudly all night.

Loved my stay. It was so quiet and comfortable. The town of Woodstock is adorable.

1. Room has no overhead lighting. Difficult to read in the perceived darkness. 2. Bathroom window allows a cold breeze to pour in. 3. Bathtub needs anti-slip strips! Very slippery.

The location was ideal for us to walk to shops and restaurants. The room had nice little touches like information on nearby restaurants and activities. Our room had a gas fireplace which was wonderful to sit by after being out on a rainy day. The breakfast included a nice combination of fresh fruit, breads, cereal and delicious coffee.

Great location. Easy walking distance to restaurants. Amazing vibe! Everyone was very cool! The walls were paper thin, but I travel with earplugs, so it did not matter to me! This place is a FIND!!!

Uniqueness of rooms, breakfast options and walking distance to so many great spots!
