Red Lion Inn & Suites Yakima

This location is cheap. The bedroom wasn’t clean. The shower rod was coming out of the wall. We moved the chair and there was a big spill underneath it. The door frame was not lined up properly and there was a gap between the door frame. When requested to move rooms, we were granted that request, but the next room had a drippy faucet. No matter how much we turned the handle off, the faucet was still dripping water. There seemed to be blood or some sort of stain on the bathroom wall behind the toilet. The sheets had some dirt on them.

I was disappointed that the room didn't have a refrigerator or an ice bucket. They did finally bring me a fridge about an hour after I requested one. When I first stepped into the unit, the I saw a big bug in the bathroom. Fortunately, that was the only one.

The employees were very kind. Went out of their way to help me. The breakfast was nice. Having a good supply at the end would have been nice, but still appreciated. The beds and pillows were extra extra comfy. I really commend how nice the bed and pillows both were. The rooms truly need a deep cleaning and upgrading. But, served the purpose well.

Staff was nice and did their best to accommodate The area was horrible and the linens where dingy and stained/dirty. Staff tried to get us some clean ones but had to resort to getting a NEW set of sheets

only nice person was housekeeping.front desk person did not simle or anything was very cold. do not spend your money here. booked 5 rooms only 2 towels four pople perroom. breakfest 2 slices of white and wheat toast no bagels or juice no extra beds@24 hour business center no no fire alarms. back door was fence in with barwire and the list goes on.

Ease of check in and check out. Though it is a budget motel, it’s not well maintained. By that I mean, large stains on the sheets, cigarette burn holes in the sheets, carpets are visibly dirty, baseboard trim is falling off, lampshade graffiti with profanity. It doesn’t take much skill to fix these minor issues and if cost is the justification for this, you can easily make a place look nice without spending much money. Invest $100 into each room and the place would move from one star to three stars. You can tell whoever owns this is just lazy. Go on FB marketplace and look for a free lamp. Pick it up, swap the shade. It’s free and it would take 20 minutes.

Absolutely nothing The toilet was not cleaned and there was still literal shit in it. The bed had so many nasty stains and they were different colors. There was cereal and other crumbs and stuff in the chair in the room. This place was the nastiest place ever! The hallway smelled like pee and the door next to ours looked like it was kicked in. Don’t ever stay here!!!

The lodging itself was almost typical for a ☆☆ hotel. The caulking around the tub to the floor was black with mildew. Only the fan worked at the heater/ac. The building was quite noisy but did quiet down around 10pm. The location is scary. Homeless people living just behind the property and drug addicted tweakers roaming the area.

Room literally falling apart. I think it’s possible I received bedbugs?! I sat on bed to put shoes on and there was a hypodermic needle sitting on the microwave. The clerk could’ve cared less when notified.

Very rough rooms. Cracked walls. The toilet was nonstop running. The shower needed a shower and had a nonstop drip. The air-conditioning did work, but it’s right next to the TV so you can’t hear the TV when the air conditioning comes on. You can hear everything out in the hallways because there was a gap in the room door . The property should have free earplugs for everyone staying there. It’s definitely in a more sketchy part of town and I will be staying away from pretty much any red lions from here on out.

Nothing Homeless roaming around outside, fights in the hallways, weed odor. Lumpy beds, dirty bathroom. No room cleaning.

Pool was non operational. Room was dirty. Pillows had stains. Towels were stained. No fan in bathroom and stains on the ceiling. Chair in room had tears in it and was stained. Plumbing drain line under sink was even filthy on the exterior. Overall this hotel was clearly not kept clean and maintenanced. Light bulbs missing from lamps, no smoke detector. Room was so dirty that we bought sleeping bags in order to sleep on the beds because we weren't sure of the cleanliness.

I'm VERY surprised that Red Lion would have it's name associated with this very old and aged hotel. Everything.

Convenient location off I-82 Not clean, much in need of renovation, particularly the bathroom. Overall, a shabby property that looks to have had hard use.

Not much to say about what was liked. Room was nasty,TV unplugged lights didn't work or no light bulbs in the fixtures dried god knows what stuck to the back of the TV. Dead bugs stuck to walls holes all over the room 1 trash can in bathroom, AC didn't work, room was hot, smoke detector missing microwave broken, stains on sheets maintenance needs to get off their ass and fix things. Walls were horrible need holes patched up and repainted fist marks all over the place

Room was NOT clean at all, there was a hole in the door with paper stuffed in it. We left.

Great location, felt safe, and was easy to get to. Also included a light breakfast which was nice. Fixtures falling off the wall, shower curtain had makeup stains, grout from repairs was not cleaned up well, and the whole room just look like it was barely hanging on.
