Lake Lodge Cabins - Inside the Park
About Lake Lodge Cabins - Inside the Park
The hotel cabins are set back 400 metres from the historic Yellowstone Hotel and Lake Yellowstone. Here, time past is captured in the shimmering reflections of lake-side Mountains and enchanting stories of lumbering moose and fish too big to keep. The hotel consists of a main lodge, built in the 1920s, with cabins grouped nearby. This is an inviting location where the cosy cabins create a friendly atmosphere. The log lodge houses a delightful lobby where two fireplaces routinely beckon guests from the huge porch's wooden rocking chairs. Bonotel's contract only offers the Western Cabins. These cabins have two double beds and a private bathroom with a bathtub and shower. The more energetic can walk the 200km of trails available.

No refrigerator. Ice machine not close, didn't work anyway.
-
Very comfortable accomodation befitting the environment.
-
No WiFi in the cabin. Cabin way too small for the price per night. House cleaning staff folded a used towel and put it back on the towel rack.
-
THere was no WiFI

Lovely stay within Yellowstone. Loved location. Cabin clean and comfortable. Elk and bison right in meadow across from lodge

It was the perfect place in the middle of wild life, love it, will return for sure

Nice surrounding

The bar and restaurant were both good. The only complaint is that the room was not very well lit and the only mirror was impossible for a short person to use.
-
This was our only stay at a facility inside the park. The cabin was very small and offered no real amenities. The shower was small. The cabin needed to be renovated.

The cabins aren’t the best but location is amazing. That’s what you’re paying for.

We were excited to stay in cabins near the lake in Yellowstone. After speaking with 3 different staff members about dinner accommodations, I was finally told the dinning room was fully booked weeks ahead of time. Only onsite food options were mediocre burgers at the cantina or 3 appetizer choices at the bar. Nearest restaurant 30 minutes away. Stunning to me that they would book hundreds of guests while not having the ability to provide a meal for them.

I only stayed one night but the cabin I stayed in was clean, large and cozy. Although the cabin did get cold rather quickly (it was late Sep to be fair). The cabin did have a heater which partially warmed the room up. But by morning the area by the door especially became really cold. Wyllie's canteen was good. The selection was pretty minimal but it was coming to the end of the season. Still was able to get a hot meal after a long day. There is no wi-fi within the cabins but there is in the main lobby with enough seating by the fireplace to catch up on a few messages.

Staff are super friendly. The room was nice and clean. So neat that Elk and Mule Deer would be walking just outside our door. It was nice having laundry access but walking back to the car was very dark. It would be nice to have some outdoor lighting in the parking area but there may be a good reason for that. The food was just ok but not surprising from all the reviews.

Nice clean room. Beautiful area surrounded by water and elk. The food is just OK, but the fact that it's available in the hotel is super convenient. My only wish would be to have more coffee options.

Staff was friendly, awesome views. Lodge was cool.
-
Right in the middle of the park. A couple of days before closing for the season so cafeteria options and hours were limited. Views of the lake were beautiful and some walking paths in front of the property were nice.

Lake lodge cabins is a great property right in Yellowstone National Park. Its old but very comfortable. No TV, spotty Wi-Fi…. I love it. You and nature. The main lodge is quiet, cozy and comfortable. It has a general store and the restaurant has good food with the best view in the world, Lake Yellowstone!

no tv, no internet, no fridge. high price though low satisfaction. please, stay outside of park. it's not far from there!
-
The room had everything we needed and in a convenient location for exploring the park. The only down side was the timing. Approaching the close of season the hotel facilities were running down and the food choices in the on site restaurant were almost zero by the end of our stay. A full menu was still available up the valley in Canyon though, just had to plan around it.
