Lake Lodge Cabins - Inside the Park
About Lake Lodge Cabins - Inside the Park
The hotel cabins are set back 400 metres from the historic Yellowstone Hotel and Lake Yellowstone. Here, time past is captured in the shimmering reflections of lake-side Mountains and enchanting stories of lumbering moose and fish too big to keep. The hotel consists of a main lodge, built in the 1920s, with cabins grouped nearby. This is an inviting location where the cosy cabins create a friendly atmosphere. The log lodge houses a delightful lobby where two fireplaces routinely beckon guests from the huge porch's wooden rocking chairs. Bonotel's contract only offers the Western Cabins. These cabins have two double beds and a private bathroom with a bathtub and shower. The more energetic can walk the 200km of trails available.

Towels were clean Bathroom was good Food was good (tried black bean burger) There was ice machine, water filling station in the lobby Roads were in pretty bad condition, quite full of pot holes Wi-fi was only available inside the lobby, not available even if you are sitting outside of lobby on chairs (so no question on wi-fi being available in your rooms - anyway that's not advertised) Lobby (inside) was mostly occupied (and full) with people who wanted wifi If you are fine getting completely disconnected from world then stay here since most of the Yellowstone also has no connection (T-mobile network data/text was not working, Verizon data/text was working for my friend in Lake lodge)

This hotel relies on the fact that there are so little options to stay in the area. Just know what you’re getting into and read the reviews about the price and service. Would have been better to camp!

Main lodge was very clean and staff was extremely nice and helpful. The road is very rough when driving back to the cabins. Cabins provided shampoos, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. They also provide a fan due to not having AC. I opened the windows at night to cool off the room and would make up cold. The dining area was very well priced and food came out very quick. There was Elk wandering the property on the last day and and you can sit on the front porch and watch the animals

not bad for inside beautiful park!
-
Also, we booked 2 rooms and they were very far from each other instead of being side by side,

The room was clean and nice. Staff was nice. The room had no WIFI which was a bit of concern. Also the breakfast was available in main common area which was a bit of walking. It was not free. The location was good and in quieter location.

The cabin was well decorated, clean and spacious. Parking directly outside the cabin 20 feet away. Beautiful view of the lake and best of all, elks roam the property early in the morning!

Amazing experience.
-
Hotel location is perfect to visit the park but amenities aren't in line with the price charged (no tv, no wifi, no fridge, poor network)
-
All exceptional except bugs

Great atmosphere Dining menu limited but that is not the reason going there A memorable time spent there Cabin good and spacious with plenty of natural light Well revommended
-
No refrigerator. Ice machine not close, didn't work anyway.
-
Very comfortable accomodation befitting the environment.
-
No WiFi in the cabin. Cabin way too small for the price per night. House cleaning staff folded a used towel and put it back on the towel rack.
-
THere was no WiFI
-
Lovely stay within Yellowstone. Loved location. Cabin clean and comfortable. Elk and bison right in meadow across from lodge
-
It was the perfect place in the middle of wild life, love it, will return for sure

Nice surrounding

The bar and restaurant were both good. The only complaint is that the room was not very well lit and the only mirror was impossible for a short person to use.
