Lake Yellowstone Hotel and Cabins

Expected room in a national park except for the mouse.

Room view of the lake was awesome. We came during off season so a lot of amenities were closed. But overall, the stay was nice

No internet there at all. Power went out during our stay and the hotel isn't well equipped for such events. However, it is a Beautiful hotel with a beautiful location!

What a beautiful historic hotel! The lounge area with seating for overlooking Lake Yellowstone was great! The evening live music in this area was beautiful!

2nd time there in 2yrs. Love the cabins.

Yellowstone was great but after staying 5 nights staying in different locations, this Wes the worst

When staying there, keep in mind that there is no television, no mini fridge, and no microwave. You really disconnect from the outside and relax and enjoy the park what has to offer. Rooms are clean and staff very friendly. While we were there, there was power outages, which was unexpected but we survived. They didn't last for long but made it slightly more adventurous. We really spent most of the time exploring what the park had to offer. BRING GOOD WALKING SHOES !!!

Had a nostalgic feel to it. Nice bar and the dining room food was excellent (make advanced reservation).

The bathroom floor seamed dirty. The pillows were very small. The power went off at 6:00am nothing hot to drink. Offered cold breakfast bar. We had reserved a king room got a queen. Was not impressed for the money we paid!

Older property but they are keeping it alive and well! Everything felt nice and well kept. Staff was wonderful. Bed was comfy!

Registration desk told us breakfast was only at eh Deli and we had to go to Lodge for dinner. The lodge dinner was barely eatable. Breakfast we learned after a terrible one from deli, was served in the dining room. This was good. Dinner even in the dining room was inadequate and one of our party got sick that night. We would not recommend and will not stay again at Lake Yellowstone Hotel.

The cabin room offered a nice rustic atmosphere.

The cabins are not worth the price they charge. With the exception of a bed and indoor bathroom, it should be considered primitive. No cell service, no internet at cabins, no tv, you have to walk to the other hotel for ice. Not worth the price I paid. The only positive was the bison that camped out in the center of the entryway to the property for an afternoon.

Staff. Room. Bar. Excellent. Breakfast good. Dinner ok.

Unplugged!! This is so different but I will say that its an experience we won’t forget. Cabins were well maintained It looked like army barracks from the outside but was beautiful inside. Good place to stay if just to be convenient location while travelling.

Beautiful surrounding, with wild Elk walking right past our window!! The bar and lounge was fun and relaxing. Loved the fact that there were no TVs and very limited WiFi. Getting back to the real world and talking with others was wonderful!!!

There was really nothing wrong with our hotel except the exorbitant prices of the rooms (I get it, limited access) and horrendous food everywhere in the park, including at this restaurant. We went to Grand Tetons after and the food and hotels were great. Yellowstone was really nothing special.

Room was clean. Linens were clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. And you can’t beat the location.

There was no wifi and no cell service and no place to eat except a very fancy restaurant that didn't have any available reservations until 930 pm.
