Expensive and at best average

Should have WiFi at least in main lobby of the hotel if not in room .

This was a pleasant surprise to us. We didn’t realize it was so historic (built in 1891) and beautiful. We also didn’t know they had a string quartet that played in the lobby. We were in the newer part (finished in 1923) and our room had a days gone by charm to it, reminded us of the Waldorf in New York. I highly recommend staying at this gorgeous and historic property!

Don’t like the cabin. This is the first time we live in a cabin. Small, no fridge, trash bin is hard to use

The shower was awesome. The location was amazing. The staff were the best!!

Tried to check in at 6.45 pm and room wasn’t ready. Person at the desk was poorly trained and useless. When we did check in electrics blew first time we plugged in an appliance. In fairness maintenance team did fix it quickly. Food in restaurant poor and expensive.

The room as clean nice and cozy. No WiFi unless you drive up to the lodge. We didn’t mind tho. Great break for technology. We seen lots of elk right near our cabin. Absolutely will book again

Please make sure and double check your booking. I booked a two queen bed room but was given a cabin. They were booked and would not accommodate me. There also is no WiFi available on property.

All good!

The room was not clean at all even though this was a pricey hotel. Shower was absolutely disgusting and looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned in some time. Everything in the room was dusty especially around the armoire. There’s now WiFi, microwave or tv in the rooms which they failed to mention to us (there’s no signal on cell phones anywhere in Yellowstone). We will not be staying here again! I just want to say I did have the BEST STEAK of my life at the restaurant though! It was well worth the price!!! Fantastic wait staff too!

Cons: no wifi, no extra sheet and blanket (at least when we asked for), there's one restaurant onsite that you'd need to have reservations in advance.

Parking was sufficient, the food at the lodge was not good in my opinion, but the restaurant in the hotel was great. The Cabins are a bit old but they served its purpose we slept, shower, and had no issues.

No wifi, No TV.
-
Absolutely not worth the price you pay for a room or dinner. If we had to do it all over again we would choose a different lodge to stay for our visit.

Stay in the hotel

No wi-fi! Be prepared for that! Not like at Old Faithful. Cabin was clean and efficient. Dinner in the dining room was good and great views after dinner in the relaxing great room with music played by pianist. Comfortable stay here.

I was disappointed that Expedia did not book me in the main building and I wanted 2Queen beds and was given One King.

All Good.

Lake Yellowstone Hotel is somewhat tired yet, Harkins back to yesteryear. The lobby was bustling, perhaps a bit too much. The bed was comfortable. We were quite disappointed in the restaurant. The food quality was not up to par. we later learned how short staffed the national parks are which gives us a bit of understanding. all in all we loved being in Yellowstone but the price point of this hotel was higher than the quality delivered

it was expensive
