I just felt it needed a good cleaning.

The smell of wet dog & curry throughout the building was overwhelming the entire time. The pool was closed with algae growing on all the pool walls. The bathrooms had urine and mold in the corners, the tub was stained horribly. The mattresses were super hard with small square pillows and very noisy thin aluminum bedframes that echoed like thunder if you touch it. Lastly, the coffee maker in the public lobby was moldy at the spout, and for some reason the apple juice had tiny black specs in it.

Advertised as having a pool. Pool was “closed for maintenance”. Looked very useable to us.

I asked for some kind of compensation for the scare, but was told since I booked online they couldn't do anything. The tub could have used a good cleaning and the smoke detector in our room was missing. I guess you get what you pay for.

location comfort

I was really looking forward to being able to enjoy the pool, but they said it was permanently closed. However, it looked perfectly fine and the sign said that it was closed for maintenance.

The staff were friendly, breakfast was well maintained. The pool however was closed for maintenance and would have liked to know that prior to staying. We were traveling with kids and had planned to let them burn off energy before bed.

Extra friendly staff and clean room. Nothing that I can think of.

The room was decent, the linens clean, but the bed was very uncomfortable. The bathroom had running warm water but looked old and needs to be deep cleaned due to staining. It had basic amenities like a refrigerator. Overall, you get what you pay for and the rate was pretty cheap.

Close to the wedding destination. Air was not on in room before we got there and it was hot, but it cooled off real fast! Lobby smelled, not good or bad but very overwhelming different. Shower head leaked and was shooting towards ceiling and causing the ceiling to peel and flake off into shower. Pool was closed but didn’t note that on website.

The staff was nice. The rooms were clean. The location was overall clean. Nice price prices. The pool is closed on the website. It does not say that

Nothing It said free breakfast but it was $20. The bathroom was not clean. There was no hot water. The sheets were dirty. I booked a king and they said they only had a double queen. We left after an hour because it was that bad.

Good location. Easy check in and out. Breakfast was sad.

Pool was closed, there are no in-room coffee makers and the "coffee" provided at all times was barely flavored. There was mold at the base of the toilet, and under the rim of the toilet. The message light on the phone would not go off. The staff said "Just unplug the phone." The T.V. remote would not turn off the unit and would not control the volume. There was only luke warm water available in the shower until after 6:30 a.m. which isn't very helpful when you want to shower at 5:30. Only luke warm water in the sink as well. The only plus was that the beds were clean and comfortable. I hope they do better in the future.

The room was super clean.

Hotel is run by a friendly family, the farm fields behind, close to fast food, has breakfast although carb heavy (had hard boil eggs thank you), hot water in shower, wi-fi worked, pillows comfy, sheets okay, room clean indoor swimming pool was not in operation, breakfast is mostly carbs

Pool closed. Minimal breakfast offerings. Aged and in need of attention.

Pros: The front door was self-open and therefore a bit hard for my husband to open by himself. The front desk staff was friendly, efficient, and welcoming. It was easy to wheel into our first-floor room and then next to the bed, but the bed was rather high and difficult to transfer into. But he made it. The bathroom was easy for him to get into and to use. The bed was very comfortable with good sheets, and the room temperature was easy to control. Also, surprisingly, the little frig did a great job of cooling our food. The lighting in the room was sufficient, and it looks like the room was recently painted. We weren't disturbed by outside noises while in our room. Cons: The hotel had a strong odor of room spray when we entered, which can hold endocrine disruptors. The pool was closed for maintenance, and the overall feel of the public spaces seemed somewhat run-down and not cleaned thoroughly. Our bathroom functioned but held many stains from lack of deep cleaning, I suspect. The painting job in our room was messy where the trim met the walls, and the room could use a good deep cleaning. The breakfast smelled good, but it could benefit from some produce and low-glycemic options. Overall rating for this hotel is Fair/Good based upon the room we stayed in. I think that if the current owners continue to make improvements, it could be a Very Good stay.
