20 Construction Conferences to Attend in 2025

The construction industry is constantly evolving and adapting to changing times. Whether it’s technology, policy or buyer preferences, it’s a market that never stays still.

If you work in construction, building, design or related industry, you cannot stay still either.

Which is where construction conferences come in.

They are a valuable resource for professionals seeking to address industry challenges, enhance their skills, network with peers and gain a competitive edge.

If you’re planning your schedule for 2025, we recommend attending as many of these 20 construction, building, and design-related conferences as you can!

CONEXPO-CON/AGG

CONEXPO-CON/AGG markets itself as the largest construction show in north America and it might just be.

It has over 2,000 exhibitors, hosts over 150 training sessions and manufacturers from across construction, architecture and design.

You can try new tools and equipment, see demonstrations of new techniques, listen to discussions and meet peers in the industry.

One reason for its success is that it’s for businesses of all sizes. From small outfits of 10 people or more, all the way to multinationals. It’s as inclusive as it is informative, which is why it’s so popular.

International Builders' Show (IBS)

The 2025 NAHB International Builders' Show also markets itself as the largest of its kind in the world. This time, it’s light residential construction rather than the entire industry.

The show is where small to large building firms come to connect, learn, watch, meet, greet and network.

There are thousands of attendees and hundreds of exhibitors from across the residential construction industry.

The schedule is a mix of meetings, talks, training sessions, symposiums and exhibits. There’s also a chance to unwind at the end of each day with parties and mixers so it’s not all hard work!

World of Concrete

The enigmatically named World of Concrete is a tradeshow all about one of the world’s oldest construction materials. It’s the only conference dedicated to concrete, mortar and related industries.

The schedule is made up of indoor and outdoor exhibits, demonstrations, education, talks, events and more. A dedicated New Product Zone ensures you’re fully up to speed about what’s coming.

Topics are many and wide ranging, including technology, application, new developments and business strategies, to name a few.

The World of Concrete is about more than just a conference, it’s a year-long campaign to educate and develop the industry.

The Design-Build Conference & Expo

The 2025 Design-Build Conference & Expo is for building designers and builders and brings the two together seamlessly in one well-attended show.

It typically attracts over 2,000 attendees and hundreds of exhibitors from across the design-build industry. Typical attendees include architects, design studios, building firms and anyone in the residential building industry.

The schedule is a mixture of demonstrations, exhibitors, meetings, talks, sessions and networking opportunities.

Not much detail has been released yet for the 2025 conference, but if last year is anything to go by, it’s a must-see for anyone in the design-build industry.

AIA Conference on Architecture

The AIA Conference on Architecture & Design 2025 is being held in Boston and will welcome over 15,000 attendees and 600 exhibitors in June.

There will also be speakers, networking opportunities between AIA and AEC members, over 300 educational sessions that qualify for HSW, GBCI, RIBA, and AIA LU credits, and an expo of over 500 brands.

If you’re in either architecture or design and are looking for a construction-related conference to attend, this is the one for you!
