Quality Inn Pinehurst Area

Don't be deceived by the pictures of the rooms! Upon walking into my room I saw both lamp shades were stained with by some type of liquid. The furniture was damaged and missing trim pieces. The shower curtain was on backwards and did not have a liner. It was made of cloth and would be soaked after a shower. The shower know was broken making it hard to adjust the temperature. Two of the lamps in the room did not work at all. The AC has no adjustable vents and blows directly into the window curtains causing them to stay poofed out from the window allowing light in and people to see In to the room. We had to ask for laundry bags as there were none in our room. They keep them at the front desk and you have to ask for one. And finally the beds are absolutely horrible! The sheets had stains. The pillows felt like a bag stuffed with crumpled paper In them. The mattress had springs sticking up all over it. I would never stay there again and would highly recommend you do them same if you are considering staying there! They should have a 1 star rating at best!

Nothing Something was biting us the whole time we were there, I went to the store and bought some bed bugs and flea spray but it didn't do much, we will not be returning to that hotel.

Our room was very clean, comfortable bed, hot shower. Had everything needed for travel (iron, hair dryer, etc) that other hotels have. Area was quiet. Only stayed one night so that was all we needed. Not many choices for breakfast. Not necessarily hot food but would have liked more bread choices and maybe some proteins like hard boiled eggs or packaged cheeses.

The girl at check in was very nice! The place looks nothing like the pictures you posted. It is very run down and dirty! I had to switch rooms because the 1st one I checked in to smelled awful of cigarettes. The front desk person was nice but room was horrible. Did not sleep well at all. I thought the rate was good but after staying there I do not feel the same. Will never return.

Water leaking out of air conditioner which caused me to slip and fall. Thank goodness for the chair being there. Toilet was broken so you had to be careful sitting down. Just an older property that needs some fixing up.

Location was perfect. The staff was incredibly friendly. Room was clean and the best was very comfortable. Exactly what I needed. Breakfast was exactly what I needed too. Nice and quiet throughout the night. There was nothing I would say I didn't like. Was there a smell of smoke, yes. But I read the reviews and I knew to expect that before I booked it. My sense of smell adjusted in about 30 min and I didn't even think about it after that. That was on me if I didn't like it after booking because I knew about it before I booked the room. This is a working persons room. There are a lot of workers in town for jobs who need a place to stay, and they may happen to smoke and have it on their clothes. I appreciate them working and needing a place to stay. We all have our own vices, and if smoking is the worst thing that I have to deal with then so be it. The friendliness of the staff. And cleanliness of the room win out.

Run down, gross motel. Stayed here because it was the only hotel available due everything else suitable in the area being booked. The place reeked of cigarette smoke and everything was damaged, sticky, stained, and just down right nasty. Will NEVER stay here ever again.

continental breakfast ends at 9:00 a.m. which is way too early for breakfast to be over especially when check out isn't until 11:00. also, when we arrived after a very hot summer day, the air conditioning in the room was not on at all and the room was very humid and hot and stinky! once the air was on for about an hour, the stinky smell went away thank God. not the best experience we've ever had. not the worst either though.

Price, the location, close to alot of food choices, the local park, and it was quite at the motel. My room was comfortable but not maintained very well, the bed linen wasn't changed after 3 days I had to request it. Microwave was filthy and their was actual mold on the interior curtain.

Nice hotel. Great location in middle of town. Restaurant in walking distance.

Price and how quite the area was. Bed linen wasn't changed after 3 days, no water pressure on the sink, air conditioner filter were filthy, room was non smoking but had a bad smoke smell, room wasn't maintained and the curtains had mold and all kinds of crap on them.
