Great, cleaned bathroom daily and fixed up bed too. Surprised as many Hotels now a days do it every few days. BREAKFAST was Really good compared to other places I've been in the last few years

Great vibes at the hotel. Friendly check in. Nice layout. Clean. Good location. Only bar of soap and one shampoo provided in the bathroom. AC was loud at times. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfasts, but ok. We would stay again.

Room was clean and spacious. The breakfast offerings were very good. The bathroom was a little outdated....difficulty with the commode and a very slippery, hazardous tub bottom in the shower...

Whitten Inn is an older building, but well maintained. Finding the place was easy, and parking was plentiful. Check in was a breeze with very friendly and efficient people at the front desk. Our room was clean, A/C worked well (thank you!), the bed was comfy, the TV and wifi worked very well and plenty of hot water for showering. That's really everything we need. Outdoor pool was large and sparkling with pool towels provided. Breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. The room had plenty of seating, the gentleman who attended it was very nice. The food selection was varied and quite tasty. A very excellent overnight. Really everything was fine. If I am to be ultra picky, the towels in the bathroom were a bit small and rough. The juice at breakfast was a little thin. But OMG that is being very critical. I would definitely stay there again.

The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was among the best we’ve had while traveling. Rooms were adequate. They need new front automatic doors and some upgrades to match their breakfast.

Clean rooms, nice pool The breakfast is sad compared to how it used to be before it became whitten inn. The owners of said whitten inn seem to put there own values ahead of customer service. When you have a sign that ends with "if you don't like it leave" tells me more about you as a company brand than just a little bit.

The room was very clean. I noticed no buildup even in the corners like you see in other hotels. Amanda at front desk was amazing with information and just kindness! The pool was very clean and has a covered patio with fans/tables/chairs just outside the pool fence. There are very clean chaise lounges and mini tables surrounding the pool. Comfortable and there is a nice shade starting around 5pm that gradually shades the pool. We spent three hours in the pool. Vernon makes a beautiful breakfast every morning. It includes: cereal, bagels, muffins, waffles, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs plain, scrambled with cheese, beans, breakfast potatoes, bacon, sausage gravy, biscuits, 4 kinds of juice, coffee, teas, and great conversation. This was our first time in Abilene, but we will definitely stay at The Whitten Inn. The super big plus is this is a family owned motel. I would much rather give my money to a family than a big corporation!!! See you again! The Beyer Family

Generally, the breakfast in most hotels in America is very poor. I invite you to come to Europe and see how breakfast should be served in hotels.

Toilet was clogged while checking in. There was no one to address. I was handed over a plunger to go and fix it myself. I am like really? I will pay for the stay and then have to fix it myself. As per the front desk, there was no one to help other than herself. Breakfast time also ends by 8:30am, I checked in at 11:30 pm after driving 10 hrs so didn’t have the courage to wake up at 6 to attend
