Nothing. Booking.com said it was pet friendly but it was NOT SO WE HAD TO GO FIND ANOTHER LOCATION. I paid in advance and desk clerk did not give my money back

Great breakfast Towels need favorite softener

Everything but our ac didn’t work and staff confirmed and then I had to move my son who’s a child at 11 pm at night 40 rooms away. I didn’t mind this but I didn’t mind not getting offered any kind of discount and then was just told it did work the next day.

The bed was comfortable Very invasive no visitors allowed too many signs of what you can’t do. It was just uncomfortable.

Owner has an obvious dislike for the Democrats, so we won't be booking any room there again. Also, the posted signs are just rude, as to rules. Seems to be hostile.

Did not eat Curtain could not be opened so room too dark. Bloody boogers inside the shower curtain, when u get in tub and shut curtain you see them, dried bloody boogers. Wash cloth was dirty, lipstick stains on it.

The pool is nice, good location, the breakfast is good and they change it daily. The front desk clerks are really nice. Beds are really firm, love all the passive aggressive signage everywhere, from how much bacon to take at breakfast (only 3), it's a buffet not take out, some high quality Trump is amazing and everyone else is bad right on the front desk, angry sign about pets on the front door and I get that most pet owners are bad. It just not very welcoming environment. Just keep your expectations very average, I guess it beats sleeping in your car. There is a very angry white dude somewhere in this hotel.

Location close to shops and restaurants. Most in walking distance. Bed very comfortable especially after long day of driving. Breakfast bar was exceptional. Anything you can think of for breakfast was available.
-
The room was clean. The front desk staff was efficient & helpful. Hotel was close to shopping, restaurants etc I did not like that the hotel had little Jesus figures on the night stand. I found it offensive.

The staff I dealt with were very responsive and helpful. Thank you for a great experience for 2 nights! All was good! I had a problem with the AC upon arrival; but I called the desk and someone came to fix the problem within 10 minutes! Lodging costs in the Abilene area have increased significantly in the last year. I learned that is due to data centers being built in the area. Most hotels are even more expensive. Whitten Inn is a great choice for the cost, especially if your primary goal is a safe and comfortable place to sleep.

It was clean and the staff was nice.

I was not expecting much, just because the price was much less than the other hotel I had booked at first. We were there for my son's baseball tournament and the hotels are expensive in Abilene. It was so much better than I expected. It is like an old-school 80s motel, but upgraded. The staff was so friendly, the rooms were very clean, and the beds were super comfy. They have a full home-cooked type breakfast, and the pool was big and sparkling clean. We will definitely be staying there again. It really wasn't a huge deal, but we had set our check in time to 3pm and the room was not ready. We had to wait until 4pm. But then they also let us check out an hour late at no charge so not a big issue.

Everything was perfect: comfortable beds, very clean rooms, good costumer service, and a spectacular breakfast. I would come back again. n/a

Unfortunately, there was a maintenance issue with the room, but the manager personally came to address the problem. When it became clear that additional assistance was needed, she promptly contacted maintenance. The issue was resolved quickly, and everyone involved was kind, professional, and genuinely eager to help. The level of customer service we received was outstanding. The Whitten will definitely be our go-to hotel whenever we visit Abilene in the future.

It was a place to sleep, it was cleaning was quiet. Staff was nice Bed felt like we slept on a rock, towels felt like sandpaper. The price per night was way too high for the value.

Newly remodeled and clean. No elevator!!
