dirty and tv did not work

Mi estancia fue buena, solo que mi cuarto no estaba completamente limpio, sobre todo el baño, espejos sin limpiar y pelos en el shower de allí en adelante todo estuvo bien.

Bad experience

We had some issues with the room. The toilet didn’t flush, and the bathroom was dirty. It looked like someone had peed on the wall by the sink, and the toilet seat was up and had pee on it. The sink was also clogged. We called the front desk, but no one answered. Since it was late, we didn’t want to go through the hassle of changing rooms, so we just stayed there for the night.

The TV remote didn't work. It also didn't work last year. I had to Google how to reprogram the remote to make it work for the TV. The flag pole outside the building has one torn and faded white flag (presumably a holiday inn brand flag) that looks bad.

Very nice but pool and laundry machine are broke

Considering what i paid for 2 nights for a standard room iwas so disappointed. They don't even have daily housekeeping which was a let down. The beds were lumpy very low grade and creaky. The room smelled awful which i have never experienced from a holiday inn.. i would not reccomend this place even if it were cheaper and makes me question whether I will continue to book with holiday inn. As the other guests mentioned they book with holiday inn because they are usually consistently higher quality for the orice

Air Conditioning in my room was a little week, but I like it cooold. It did fine, but I used a fan to assist.

The bathroom was dirty and their was paper in the bathtub

This hotel is overpriced and not in good shape. It was super humid and stuffy in the lobby and elevators. The room needed some serious repairs.. I will not stay here again. Not to mention the pool was drained and not working. This hotel was not work the price at all.

Place was horrible

The front desk staff that I dealt with were fantastic. All of them were friendly, helpful, and professional. Our room was fine, too. We purposely chose a location with a pool, because after our 8 hour drive, we wanted to let off steam; unfortunately, the pool was empty, except for a few inches of dirty water at the bottom. We decided to work out instead, but the fitness center was closed as well. That was disappointing. Other than that, it was fine.

I use Holiday Inn Express and Suites whenever I travel between CA and NC twice each year. I really do not like leaving negative reviews, but Abilene is consistently higher priced than the other cities I stay in (Tucson and Tuscaloosa) and the hotel is never as clean and up to date. You deserve to know if you are planning a stay here.

Pool out of order Tv box not working

The staff was great from the time we arrived to checkout. Breakfast was excellent. We were disappointed the pool was empty. It should be noted before booking. The room was nice, the shower was clean but could tell where they missed scrubbing the soap bar holders (there was hair). The tub also had a missing cover. The vent on the ceiling in the bathroom was missing and you could see dust build up. A few of the wall plugs did not work or were loose. Over all it was a nice quiet spot. $200 for a one night stay with an empty pool and two children was a little disappointing.

Would not book again only because of price point.

Terrible not clean smelled very bad

Staff is great, the property however is very poor. Multiple light bulbs were missing form the lights in my room. The TV was missing the remote and fully unplugged form the tv sources. The gym had a quarter of the options shown in the pictures. Would not stay again.
