Baymont by Wyndham Copley Akron

Horribly misleading photos. Once you step past the lobby or look in any direction you can see that everything was dirty, run down, and smelled. There was broken or out of service signs on almost every visible area, doors windows, etc. Our room looked nice but was very dirty. The bathroom was almost unusable. The sinks backed up the tub backed up, there was tubing and bite marks all over the door frame and walls. There was half holes. It was horrendous. The breakfast ran out of everything almost immediately, there is nothing to eat or drink in the coffee, tasted like dirty water. The only good thing was leaving.

Absolutely terrible, rude staff, dirty rooms and dirty property. Definitely avoid if you have children as I found a pile of needles in the grass outside, and not the sewing kind.

The hotel was great. Good breakfast, clean room, good breakfast. My only complaint is that the parking lot had beer bottles all over and people were out drinking in the parking lot.

Higher end hotel good price

Not a horrible stay if you are just looking for somewhere to rest your head.

This is a property that is in the middle of improvements. It was very loud and the jetted tub was clean but old and cracked so I did not want to use it. The staff was kind and I appreciate that they are trying to make things nicer.

We liked the location Some of the lamps in the room were not functioning or lacked bulbs. The bathtub did not appear clean.

Bathroom in room was disgusting. Had to use shower shoes because the tub clogged. Jetted tub was extremely old and looked dirty.

The tube was nasty. There was ants in my bed.

It was remodeled and clean. However, there was a smell I couldn't quite place, almost like a spice, not necessarily mold or mildew, but not a pleasant spice. But the strangest thing I encountered was the toilet seat was not on the toilet and was simply under the sink where you would typically use for storage or travel items. For the price, it was very accommodating and appeared clean within both the lobby and the room.

Great and polite employees

I didn’t like this hotel at all. The pictures do not match what the actual room looks like. They have old worn out furniture in the room and the bathroom is disgusting. They need to revamp this entire hotel.

It was loud, toilet was leaking, Room had obvious damage, including hole punched in wall. The sheets were not clean, the shower curtain was falling off the wall. We could hear people upstairs, rolling things across the floor at one in the morning. Workers seem nice, but I cannot say I would ever go there again and have marked it in my notes as something not to rebook.

I just had coffee. The area was clean. The toilet was broken in the room, it looks like it has been broken for some time too. Bathroom could have been cleaner too. Also 2 towels? Most women use 2 towels per shower! I ordered 2 rooms with king beds, only one room had a king bed! I will not be staying at your hotel ever again! Your staff was also clueless at checking in guests! It sounded like someone was trying to kick a door in at 2:45 am!! This went on for hours! Just a horrible stay!

Or by the breakfast area and the breakfast sucks. Also the refrigerator is dirty and moldy.

the breakfast was ok on variety the spa tub was disappointed on looks as was stained. I wouldn't use it.

My advice…find another hotel

The breakfast bar did not have any protein options. It would be nice to include yogurt, hardboiled eggs and maybe peanut butter.
