Albany Plaza Hotel

We liked it, helpful staff, nice breakfast, everybody was very nice.

It has been our spot for the last month service isnt bad we appreciate this place no complaints

Not worth at all.

Continental breakfast professional courteous

Avoid this. Part looks non operational. Indoor pool is not in use. Expedia lists indoor and outdoor, yet didn't even see the outdoor. Terrible breakfast offering 3 items only; toast with nothing but butter, hard boiled eggs, and made to order waffles, which were soggy and inedible. Burnt coffee and no regular sugar available. 1 mystery juice only. Not allowed to serve yourself anything, all behind block. Pool towels offered as shower towels. Not allowed even 30 min late check out, with arriving 1 am. Lot not full then, and with 8 or 9 floors and annex, it didn't apear full, yet told they were. Sign name partially covered and changed. Also notes weekly rates, so it's residential as well likely. Again, skip this, and Expedia should remove it.

FAKE HOTEL DO NOT BOOK!!!!

The staff was very helpful.

Great value for the money. Bed was great. Only sparsely outfitted. Towels are at an extreme minimum and may not be the size you need. No kleenex, no coffee maker. no cups. Bring your own toiletries. Tons of parking. Staff is excellent. 6th floor smells. Stayed on the 5th floor 4 months ago and it was fine. Toilet seat was almost off and the shower rod was loose. In all fairness, this place was purchased in the last year or so and they are trying very hard to upgrade it and it is going to take time and money. I would still stay here again in a heartbeat. There are fast food and other restaurants within a mile and larger chains 10-12 min away. Very convenient to I-90.

The hotel was nothing like the pictures. Bathrooms were dirty, lights always flickering, TV horrible quality. Gave us 1 towel that looked like it was for a kid. When you asked for more the person at the front desk got upset and said room service should be up there. Phone in the room to contact front desk didnt even work.

Ice was only available from front desk in a 9 story building. Even during busy check out only one of two elevators working, so othe likely dead. Breakfast was a total joke. Coffee toast and hard boiled eggs. Can't expect a lot for $50 a night but this was pretty bare bones. No in room phones so you had to go down to front desk for questions, or find the phone number. The TV had no guide channel so totally just hunting around. Glad I had my tablet to stream stuff. There was a shuttle van that looks like it hasn't moved in years.

This was just a HORRIBLE hotel. There’s no lights or signage outside so was difficult to find at night. The lobby was old and dirty and had a smell to it. When we got to our room things just got worse. The only thing I can say somewhat positive is that the sheets didn’t have any stains on them. But other than that there were stains everywhere. The tub was filthy and the walls had stains and a there was a hole in the ceiling above the shower. The carpet was disgusting too, I can only imagine want all the stains were from. My only advice would be to stay far away from this place.

The driveway had a lot of patches in it, but it was fine to drive on. This hotel did not have a lot of flowers and decorations on the outside, but it was beautiful inside. I would stay at this hotel again.

Run away, don't walk. Traveling as a solo female business traveler I immediately got a bad feeling when I pulled in to the parking lot. There two lone individuals loitering in the parking lot. The airport shuttle had flat tires and hadn't been moved in a long time. Clearly at one point this was a Crown Plaza, as indicated by the Crown part of the sign being blacked out and only Plaza Albany remaining. Poorly lit parking lot. I think folks are living in the hotel - I get that housing is very hard to find, and disasters can befall anyone - but it was odd watching people go in to the hotel with grocery orders and walking around in pajamas. I went to my assigned room, continued to not feel safe, and decided to leave. I did not stay the night.

The staff was nice and helpful. The building is worn but serviceable, and the rooms are a good price for the area. Everything worked fine in the room. Our main disappointment was with the advertized "continental breakfast," which only provided coffee & powdered creamer, home fries, and hard-boiled eggs, but no bagels, muffins, cereal, yogurt, milk, or juice, etc.

Continental breakfast was bread and coffee what a joke, room was noisy, dirty ceiling was peeling, the worst place we have ever stayed, will never recommend

breakfast is boiled eggs, waffle, and diluted coffee. the ceiling of the room where breakfast is served leaks water from the floors above.

Free breakfast, weekly rates, and a nice lobby. The rooms are a little old, Wi-Fi is sketchy. If you are far from the elevator and the shower pressure could have been better. But overall, I am satisfied with my stay.

Why do you offer this place here on this site? This place is nasty and so is
