Candlewood Suites Alexandria - Fort Belvoir by IHG

Location, size of room, kitchenette, size & comfort of beds They didn’t have enough towels for us to use, they said they ran out of towels and need to buy more. The blow dryer did not work in the room, the elevator was broken.

The stay was WONDERFUL! Will recommend this place to everyone.

We stayed for warped tour. I was worried it was to far away. Turned out perfect. My only complaint was the stove top didn’t work. I guess we could have maybe asked someone but when we did decide to use it. We were kind of in a rush. So we just said screw it.

I never ended up staying I tried to get a refund and never got it

Only issues I had was the bath tub was not fully clean there was some dirt left in the shower but other then that the stay was very comfortable and relaxing.

The AC/heat exchanger was noisy. Although the front desk said it was fixed it was still making a loud humming noise.

I didn’t appreciate how the TV wasn’t video game friendly. The remote did not have access to the input channel in order to allow for gameplay. Also, the TV only has a power button which further limits the access on the TV to switch channels.

There were a lot of pet rules in their pet policy that was not posted - I.e. having to crate animals if you leave them in the room alone. We didn’t bring a crate because we didn’t know that was a rule. All policies should be posted on the site to be able to better choose a hotel.

The hotel was clean and felt just like home.

The staff was very helpful and professional.The room was spacious and accommodating. I liked the kitchenette with the stove top and refrigerator.Everything was easy to use . There is a grocery store and Walmart was right down the road. It is a great place to stay.
