Holiday Inn Allentown-Bethlehem by IHG

We couldn't use the pool because it was out of service. But everything else was fine.

I called before check in and spoke to someone that said we had rooms that were door to door. We checked in and did not and then they lied to my wife about it. The pool was out of commission when we got there but it opened back up after a bit. It should have stayed closed. The water is nasty and the pool area is gross and dirty. Nothing cleaned. Hotel is mid. Wouldn’t stay here again.

We had an issue with our room and the service provided by he staff in response was great.

Breakfast was good and met expectations. Very clean facility. Easy covered check in during a torrential downpour. Traffic noise did affect our sleep regrettably.

I like that the pool was open til ten. The bathroom in the pool area was nasty. Some of the staff were ignorant and not helpful. They only had 2 luggage trolleys. People came down in the mourning and kept them in their room. I had to carry my down luggage for a family of 6 from the third floor. I didn’t like that breakfast wasn’t included for the price. But for another $13 per person.

We had a great stay at the hotel. I really liked that when you paid for an adult breakfast 2 kids got to eat free.. staff was very helpful.. we got down to breakfast at 9 am on a Monday not realizing it ended at 9 and they still let us get food made a whole new thing of eggs for my children and we ate it while they very patiently waited for us to finish. Not once did I feel rushed or like they were annoyed. Front desk was also very nice.

I do like the convenience of it paying off the highway. But it does get loud. But what can you do… There appeared to be pills in the sofa. I think it was ibuprofen because they looked familiar.

Easy to locate. Like the dove products The breakfast was extra charge. Hard to get stuff to the room. Limited towels.

Clean facility and nice staff. The breakfast was good but you had to pay for it. Booking.com did not state that the breakfast is another charge on top of the room. Also the rooms that I thought I was getting are not the same as what they offer. One of my children had to sleep on the floor because of this, not cots available. Booking.com states they have all these amenities and they do not. I asked for a partial refund from them because of this and no response.

The place is great when there aren’t too many families staying there. I stay there when I do OTR work. The staff is great, the place is clean and if you get a good room on the third or second floor away from the elevators, you will have a great night of rest and relaxation.

The staff were excellent - pleasant and extremely helpful, the whole facility was clean with an appealing and functional layout, the room was clean and properly stocked, beds comfortable, and the wifi was very fast/smooth for a free tier in a packed hotel The only issue we had was the lack of airflow in the room/inability of the AC unit to properly cool the space. This may have been due to some maintenance need or something, but it wasn't anything unbearable

The ice machine was broken on our floor. Had to go to the 1st floor. House keeper came early in the morning. It woke us up.

Clean room and Sisco, the front desk kid was very nice Was ripped off in the price. Site said 90 a night and cost was over double at checkout.

Everything was in excellent condition and very clean. Comfortable bed, good towels, nice desk and chair. My only minor complaint is very low water pressure in the shower.
