Motel 6 Amarillo, TX - Airport

We did not stay at this motel. It was not safe. We asked for a refund, was told by the property manager that we would have to go through booking.com and booking.com said that the property would have to wave the fee at their choice. nothing- It is sketchy. Had inappropriate activities clearly seen.

Room smelt of urine. Only 1 hand towel for 2 people

Poor

The staff was friendly and helpful, and when I found cockroaches and a spider in my first room, they moved me to another room right away. Unfortunately, the second room had a urine smell, although I was still able to get a decent night’s sleep. Parking was a big plus since there was plenty of room for my truck and trailer, and from my second-floor room I could keep an eye on the vehicle. There really weren’t any amenities or breakfast, though, and considering the condition of the rooms, I felt the price should have been lower.

Gal at front desk was super nice. No pet fee!! Bed was hard. Quite noisy - close to highway. Both the address and phone number were incorrect on the booking.com reservation. Difficult to find.

The room was clean and we were able to park right outside our room. The shower had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The staff was very accommodating. We were only there for one night.

The room smelled and looked very clean. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful with directions to specific sites. No complaints, no suggestions for improvement.

Great Bathtub stained with dirt.

Location so high risk crime Just trying to enter the building was intimidating. Initially I could not find a door. Driving around the building the entire back parking lot has extremely less than desirable dwellings. Riff raff was hanging out sitting against buildings apparent destitute. Another same caliber grown man riding around the parking lot on a little girls bike Final kicker The Police have posted warnings to lock and watch your car. Yeah I'm gonna stay in that environment. Aside from pictures I have a video of what I wrote above .

Not much, breakfast was fine Was not clean tape holding floor together, dead bugs mold on ceiling, stained blankets and comforters, didn't like much at all, stayed at different location complete opposite, very clean, only problem was noisy guest

Very good

Good-Sized clean room. Appreciated pet friendly policy. AC worked great! Quiet hotel with good grass area for walking dogs. While nothing fancy - it is a great value for a budget stay.

Room was clean ac was cold

Love the location and the Mexican food restaurant next door. El Charro has delicious authentic Mexican food. Bathrooms are outdated but clean. Overall good. I would stay again for the price.

Nice big area for my dog, could have used a little cleaning up but not bad. I like having a fridge with a real freezer and a microwave in my room.
