Howard Johnson by Wyndham Anaheim Hotel and Water Playground

The room was clean, staff was amazing the location was great 10-15 min walk from Disneyland definitely coming back

Our second time staying here. We are a family of four and this hotel has everything you could ever hope for. It’s absolutely perfect!!! We plan for many more stays here.

Themed rooms and waterpark are great fir young families. Great price and quality.

The property was going through construction, which would of been nice to know before hand. Our room ceiling leaked, the tub leaked, and would not hold water. The stuff was not helpful or friendly.

Ice machines was not working on the 3rd Floor, and other ice machines, 1st floor and 7th runned out of ice by 8 am,

We were in room 1715 - when we checked in at 7:30pm the AC was blowing 90 degree heat. The maintenance team came right away and fixed it - but it stopped working in the middle of the night which made for a very uncomfortable stay. One of the bathrooms also reaked of sewage, it was so bad we had to keep the door shut the entire time. Lastly, since we were on the top floor, there are huge arched windows which means it's impossible to block out the light - which left my small child waking up with the sunrise! It would also be impossible for babies/kids or anyone who need a dark room to nap. I will say that the staff was great. And it's also awesome that the water playground is open until 10pm.

I liked how we had a joining room. When we arrived our bathroom floor and bathtub had hair (head and body hair) and the bathtub faucet leaked.

We had a great experience. The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly. The property is very family friendly. The staff was very helpful at the waterpark.

The water park staff were absolutely amazing. They were very accommodating and so friendly and understanding. It’s not every where you can find a friendly and patience staff for kiddos on the spectrum. will be coming back every year, Thank you Chris! The manager of the water park! You are incredible.

Family friendly, walking distance to Disney

The kids water park is little but my kid loved it. The bigger pool is nice for adults to take a nice dip in water. About 10-15 min walk to the Disney Parks. The room was clean and the staff was on top of cleaning.

We didn’t realize how close we were to Disney we saw the fireworks from our room! so much fun, great, clean, friendly staff, fair prices. We will be back again

This was a super clean, super quiet hotel within walking distance of Disney. They are VERY committed to their kitschy mid-century decor scheme, which was fun. They also helpfully desk checked our luggage after we checked out, including putting a sticker on my daughter's stuffed pig to show that he was the sixth item in our collection. The garden pool was lovely, but we didn't realize that the water playground was for the really small kiddos. We thought it might be for the whole family, and it isn't scaled for full sized folks. The good part about that is that with that option, the few children in the garden pool were happy to be sharing the pool with the big people and were very well behaved. They didn't try and turn the pool into a playground. All around lovely experience, and we will stay there again.
