It was clean and comfortable.

Pizza delivery The sofa bed was unusable (poor mattress, poking springs, weak legs and no bedding) so I paid for a double room but ended up with only one usable bed.

The hotel was functional, but shows its age. I had higher expectation given the high rates.

The staff was professional and nice. The bath tub needs to be replaced and the room needs the carpet cleaned or replaced. It also needs a good dusting of all items. Lamp was dirty….the room really needs to be remodeled. The cost was too expensive. I believed that Expedia’s assistance in making reservation would have brought my cost down; too many add-on expenses added to the cost,

Clean spacious rooms and great staff. Plenty of breakfast options too.

Rooms were clean. You can tell they have just recently renovated. Staff were friendly enough. We didn’t really utilize breakfast. When we did go to get coffee, room was very small and over crowded so not really worth having to fight for food. Elevator was out several times during our stay even when checking out, so not really very convenient but aware these things happen, just seemed to be an on going problem during our stay. We would stay again if needed.

Location was perfect. Easy to walk to downtown. Hotel had everything we needed and breakfast was very good.

Basic room. Nice staff

Enjoyed it

Excellent property. By far the best hotel during our entire 18 day Alaska trip. Room was excellent & so was the breakfast. Conveniently located in down town so everything was pretty walkable. We even watched the 4th of July parade from our hotel room. Would highly recommend this hotel. 5 Stars .... Nothing that i can think of.

Stayed a few days before our cruise from Whittier. It was a little older but clean and the staff was very nice

Cleanliness, ambient and staff not willing to help.

The front desk staff were extremely rude and impolite throughout our experience. The Wi-Fi in our room was not working, and despite several follow-ups, instead of resolving the issue, we were given the number of an external agency and asked to coordinate with them ourselves. We discovered that the Wi-Fi was working perfectly fine in the corridor just a few metres from our room. We therefore requested either that the connection in our room be restored or that we be moved to another room. Both requests were rudely denied. As a result, we missed an important online meeting. After several more follow-ups and considerable time, it was finally discovered that the Internet cable near our room had been snapped, which was the actual reason for the problem. Technical issues can happen in any hotel. What is completely unacceptable is the way this was handled. The front desk showed no urgency, accountability or courtesy and behaved as though assisting us was a favour. Overall, a truly pathetic experience. Basic guest service and a reasonable attempt to resolve a problem were completely lacking. We would certainly not expect this level of service from a hotel

Also the bed in the room was extremely uncomfortable and very lumpy. Did not get a good nights sleep. Would never reccomend this property or hotel chain.

Downtown location Very worn, common areas falling apart

Beds were comfortable. The elevator door sometimes didn’t close and we had to take the stairs. No eggs available for breakfast one morning.
