Motel 6 Anchorage, AK - Midtown

Good location

Roma were clean and comfortable the front desk manager was very friendly and helpful. His name was Chico. He brought a smile to all of our faces at 6 am and also helped out in a last minute issue with an uber by getting us a cab

It was the best Motel 6 I've ever stayed in. It's been decades since I've stayed in one, but if they're all like this one I would be more open to staying in them for quick overnight trips.

Friendly and helpful staff

Budget friendly, no frills. Clean property and rooms, central location, kind, professional staff.

No breakfast. No real amenities. Shuttle bus was a life saver. Busy.

Staff was friendly

Lobby rugs and entire appearance could use updating/cleaning. Room fortunately had laminated floors and looked liked they were recently updated.

The shuttle from the hotel was convenient, check in was quick and the staff at the front desk was very helpful. The hotel overall was pretty dirty, musty, and old. The room wouldn't get below like 74 degrees and you could hear the neighbors on all sides. For the price, it's not worth it.

Good

This motel was clean, the staff were really nice, but the bed was so so and the door was hard to open. It was stuck! No amenities. Like a hair dryer, etc. For the price (high) we could have stayed in a nicer hotel. It was nice to have a free shuttle to and from the airport though.

Clean and comfy

Older hotel- stayed here because of the price (which was still overpriced but cheaper than other nicer hotels in area). All hotels in Anchorage are double what they should be. An ok place to get a shower and laundry after camping for several days. Location convenient to airport and other businesses/stores in Anchorage. Parking in site was good.

Easy to get to, lots of parking. The hotel was very clean. And they had great coffee in the morning:)

I liked the fact that the airport shuttle was quick and efficient. On the downside, our sink wouldn’t drain well and the supplies in the room were very minimal to nonexistent.

Compared the competing quotes the price was ok for what we got, which is essentially a bed and a bathroom. One desk chair to sit on, small lobby with very very limited seating. Coffee was available on 2 of 3 of our mornings. Was clean and tidy which was appreciated. Staff were nice.

Overall, my stay here was great. The staff here is exceptionally understanding and accommodating. I had to move rooms multiple times due to various reasons, but each time, I was treated with kindness. Ua, in particular, and the lady manager yesterday afternoon, were both very helpful and made my stay possible. It is a no frills sort of place, but is good value in an otherwise expensive town. The empathetic staff here, though, is what makes this hotel so awesome. :)
