More like a Motel

Clerk at check in was very short with instructions. Specifically told me that I had to move my car out of the loading area right away and made a point to note the no smoking fines. There is no elevator so I had to make three trips up a narrow flight of steps to get my bags up to the second floor. The room smelled like stale cigarette smoke and ass. I needed to be somewhere so I just left my things in the room and figured I’d deal with it later…it was late by the time I returned. I bought a couple of air fresheners before I went back but they didn’t even touch the smell. In the morning, I discovered the bathroom door didn’t close and looked like it had been kicked in more than once. The ceiling over the shower was peeling, there was no cover on the light fixture either. The towels were stained and had holes in them. Bedside table had something sticky/crusty on it as did the chair near the window. I was supposed to stay the weekend but I checked out the next day. My hair and clothes just stunk like this funky room. The same clerk tried to keep me from leaving. Definitely will not ever stay here again.

It was an ok stay. The tub was the best. There was nothing for Breakfast!

Upon entering the room the air was moist, we thought nothing of it at first. then the bed sheets were still damp and my employee's book pages started to curl not sure why it was like this, defiantly putting this on the list of hotels we will not be staying at again.

They overbooked our room despite making a reservations weeks in advance. They turned us away at check-in and it was a very busy night in the town so we were unable to find anything else in 30+ miles. The staff did not assist in any way. Also, there were bars in front of the check-in desk which should tell you what kind of place this is...

The front desk attendant was the omly employee we saw in 4 days. There was no stopper in the sink or the bath tub. Very weak water pressure. We left the room one morning about 10:00 am, returned to shower and change clothes about 3:00 pm and bed was not made and we had no clean towels. Asked same guy at front desk if they were going to make the bed and get towels? He looked at his watch and said, "Well housekeeping has left for the day so I guess not." Tried to put the chain on door but it was broken and fell on the floor. There were no more than 5 cars in the parking four 3 days. Now I know why!

My chain lock fell off. I moved a chair in front of the door. My card stopped working twice to unlock my door. The halls were noisy. Someone tried to open my door a few times.

Breakfast. Not good!!

Despite high marks on this stay it’s important that management addresses the fact that there were no safety grab bars anywhere in or near the tub shower and only a plastic shower curtain to perhaps catch if you slipped on the extremely slick bath tub. They might save money in the long run using non slip ribbing on the tub surface as well as installing grab bars. So a fail in terms of handicapped accessibility in the bath area.

Short stay for me. Arrived late and gone early the next day. Comfortable room and a good nights sleep

This hotel fell way short of others at this same price point. There was an odor in the hallway to our room. They had cut a flap in the carpet over electrical outlets. I tripped over that flap twice. We have stayed in rooms this size many times before. This hotel has chosen to do away with what I consider essentials. For example, there is no clothes rack with hangers for hanging garments. That has been replaced with 3 hooks. There is no towel rack in the bathroom. The towels are kept under the sink in the main part of the room. There is nothing to hang your clothes on in the bathroom. The hook that had been on the back of the bathroom room has been removed, the holes in the door remain. The “hot” water is warm not hot. When we opened the door to the room it was obvious the floor had been mopped which was nice. A quick glance at the bathroom showed that it was extremely small which was to be expected since this is an old hotel. When I took a bath I discovered that the tub had not been wiped out. There was soap scum in the tub. The exhaust fan did rattle a few times but eventually settled down. The black out shade on the window is excellent. The towels and bedding were good quality. The TV had cable with numerous choices. There were 2 face size bars of soap but they were a good quality. There were 2 paper cups in the room and they were at the coffee pot on the desk. The back of the room door showing how to evacuate the hotel did not show our room location.

No grab bars in the shower in the mobility access room. Did not respect us when we stated booking.com tried to reach them by phone and we had called twice. No one answered the phone at the hotel.we showed them the bookings.com email that was sent to us and also I showed them my phone that showed that called twice the day before. It was a horrible experience. We were able to call booking.com again the next morning and they got a hold of the hotel to resolve the problem.

Nothing honestly Our room was filthy, tried to talk to staff and get it resolved they were very rude and unkind and defensive. Tried to tell us that it was us who made the mess but we had just got to the room maybe twenty minutes beforehand. Would not give us a few extra towels considering we stayed for multiple days.
