My Place Hotel - Ankeny/ Des Moines, IA

Very affordable. The room had dirty towels and a bed looked as if someone laid in it beforehand upon arrival. Staff was okay. The room did not offer any pots, pans, cups, eating utensils, and etc. but for the price you can’t beat it. Luckily we came prepared but just a heads up for someone in the future.

This room comes with no parking! The parking they list is unavailable. Construction is happening all around, and parking is scarce. My daughter swam in a meet starting at 7:30 am When I woke that morning, my car was towed. I had no idea where to find it. When I called the number listed, they were not helpful at all and told me it was my fault. I finally noticed a "Crow Tow" sign with a number, and sure enough, they had my car. Several people in the area told me this was a scam. When I returned later, they were towing another car. $230 a pop, unless you pay cash; then 200! The next day, I had to park 4 blocks away on the street. The mattress was gross; I had to buy sheets as there was no top sheet. BEWARE!

Shampoo and body wash dispensers in the shower were empty.

I would definitely stay again.

The lamp in our room didn't work and they couldn't give us one that would. There was a complete kitchen that was basically useless, had no dishes, no silverware, and no pots and pans. Must just be there for the pictures. On top of that there was no breakfast included. The price was way too high for what we got.

Clean room and friendly staff

Our bathtub in our room had a crack on it and the refrigerator stopped working the 2nd night we stayed. Other than that it was a great location and convenient for eating!

Our 3 day stay was very pleasant. Room was clean, bed was comfy, staff was friendly. Wish they had a fitness area but that, for us, isn't a deal breaker. We would stay here again.

We arrived early, but let’s us check in anyway. The staff was very nice. It was close to the interstate and had plenty of eatery options near by. I would stay there again

Price was very reasonable. Very clean and well maintained. There was even a kitchenette which could be very handy.

This is a very nice hotel. We only stayed one night so didn't need the kitchenette but if we needed a several day stay it would be a great place for that with a small electric stove, microwave, refrigerator and silverware and dishes, a few pans. Quiet and very clean. Beds are comfortable.

Had an issue with room staff did not hesitate to correct issue

We were looking for a hotel for just a place to lay our heads after a long day of softball tournaments and need to get up fairly early next day. This met our needs. Room was very quiet despite proximity to the front desk and laundry room. Only thing I noticed was burn marks on the stovetop which we were not using anyway and slight odor of previously cooked food in the room.
