I was not disappointed. The room was clean, the breakfast was hot and the grounds were kept up. One small section of wall paper in the bathroom was coming loose but the bathroom was very clean.

The facility is older and in desperate need of refurbishing. The carpet in the hallways was rolling/buckling in several areas. The rooms are cramped. The wood on the chair is scratched and worn. The beds are old and slump in the middle. And...THEY CHARGE A DOLLAR A BOTTLE FOR WATER...AT THOSE ROOM PRICES?? Ridiculous. This facility is trying to be something it is not...elegant and worthy of catering to the UofM. The only good thing about my stay was the staff. All are excellent, cordial, helpful and accommodating. They really are miles above the property they work for.

Always love staying here … Maybe not the most modern, but cozy & comfortable, and absolutely clean as can be. A top choice whenever I’m in A2.
