It was good for the location we needed and the price. It definitely needs updates and some caulk around the edges, but fine for what we needed.

The street sign on Jackson was not lit at night during my visit making it very difficult to see where to turn from the East and West. Please repair or replace the sign if need be, ASAP!

I checked in at the front desk and went to my room. When I walked in I saw two double beds. I reserved a room with a king bed for my boyfriend and I anniversary. So I went back to the front desk and explained that to her. She then tells me that the water heater for those rooms are broken. I ask her about a room with a queen and she gives me the same answer. I ask her if there is anything she can do. She says I can still stay in my original room but I will only have cold water. Never told me about the situation until after I had checked in. Never gave me a good solution to the problem either. Our shower was dirty. The breakfast was also horrible. I took one bite of the cheesy eggs, spit them out, and threw the rest of my plate away.

Definitely outdated. The location was safe, and the staff were very pleasant and kind. The rooms were extremely humid and it was difficult to sleep. Bathrooms were awfully small and very difficult to utilize.

Rooms were dirty. Air wasn’t working. Toilet seat was broken. The bartender had a terrible attitude both nights we were there. Would not recommend for $400.00 a night to attend a Michigan game.

Pool area was under repair it was raining outside and inside roof was leaking saw insects inside hotel toilet need to be upgraded personnel was excellent

The sheets were visibly WORN OUT!!! Lint balls as well as small tears in the sheets. Bathroom needs to be painted in cracks and mold removal in the shower. Box holding the box spring on bed was worn and tattered. Comforter was also worn out. Windows were not clean as well as phone was very dusty. This used to be a BEAUTIFUL HOTEL 12 years ago. Back door/glass near the banquet area is boarded up. Landscaping is Horrible!!! Jacuzzi HOTEL Tub is DISCUSTING!!!

IN the room, there was no plug for the tub, the refrigerator was so cold it froze all my food, the coffee maker did not work, and the hairdryer would only dry on high. Three times my key didn't work and I had to get it re-keyed at the desk. The laundry room is outside and the door does not close or lock.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Also the restaurant food was very good.
-
Our stay was amazing between the cleanliness of the rooms, furniture comfort, bar and food availability and the hot breakfast offered in the morning.

Was very upset as the jacuzzi wasn't working. The noise from the children screaming in the pool until 10 pm when we had to get up early was awful. Stayed 3 nights and they never clean the room. Otherwise beds were comfortable, my friend said her AC was very loud but mine wasn't, and the breakfast was pretty good

A nice calm place to stay.

it feels a bit dated but the location is good

I booked this hotel for the beautiful photos of the indoor pool. Once I checked in I noticed that a note was posted stating the pool was closed. I am still disappointed. It's a beautiful hotel with an even lovelier breakfast room. I'll come back if the pool is operational.

The hotel is older, but not well maintained for its age. The whole place has an odor reminiscent of cooking Asian cuisine. Great when you are hungry, less so when you are trying to sleep. AC unit was extremely loud and the room was humid.

It was ok for the price during student move in weekend.
