Breakfast was excellent with great hours

Great location and friendly staff, especially Dale at valet, courteous and friendly. On our next trip to Ann Arbor we will definitely be returning to the Marriot Residence Inn.

Great location convenient to downtown restaurants. They serve a great breakfast.

Quiet location Valet: car parking by valet was operated by a company separate from the Hotel, resulting in significant issues experienced by hotel guests. It was raining and we experienced great difficulty in transferring multiple items of luggage from our car into the hotel. The valet staff told me they could not move the multiple cars that were occupying the luggage loading area because they belonged to important people.

Stayed 5 nights, small kitchen with everything you need. Well spaced work area. Staff are, without exception, friendly and helpful. The one issue I had was dealt with immediately without fuss. Breakfast covers all needs & wants. Handy laundry, small pool and gym with all you need. Short walk to the bars and restaurants of Ann Arbor, and close to UofM campus. Excellent value

I like residence inns and its location to what I was in Ann Arbor to do. Breakfast was good. -There is construction all around the property which makes it difficult to even find the front door. Actually the address is misleading saying the address in on Huron, but we actually went in on a different street. We were lost at first, called the front desk and the front desk clerk could even HELP us! -When we pulled up the valet wanted to charge $38 for parking. We found out we could park ourselves in the same structure he’d use for $1.80 an hour. Better deal -The clerks could explain my charges that increased from what Booking told me. The manager came out and explained it was for “incidentals” but could explain what that meant. -The room on the 5 Floor was COLD and NOISY. Garbage trucks came at 5 am, 6 am, and the vent system came on every hour. Hardly slept. Horrible. -Hardly any hot water. Had to run the water forever to get it hot….what a waste.

We stayed there for five nights while dropping off her daughter to university of Michigan. They have a great breakfast; delicious cookies in the lobby every day, tea, and coffee available in the lobby at all times. They’re walking distance from the university and local shops. Great place to stay.

When they say pets welcome they should say no cats I traveled 2 hrs and didn’t have a place to stay and I would like my refund

I thought this was a very well managed hotel, with friendly and welcoming staff! Excellent location! The room I had was disappointing because it had a view of the mechanical central corridor which was ugly and loud. The hvac system inside the room was also very loud and only turned it on when it was too hot to sleep without air conditioning. Just beware of the room that you get and try to have a view to the outside!
