Quaint older hotel but the location is amazing. Easy to explore parts of U of M and Ann Arbor. Walking distance to all great stuff on the north side of the main campus. We stayed there for orientation and it was ideal, costly but you are paying for the location.

Hotel was excellent. In walking to distance to everything at U of M. Walk to stadium is around 20-25 minutes. Felt very safe walking at night. Hotel were very professional and accommodating to needs. Highly recommend.

Staff was very nice and location was good

Nice character for a hotel this size. Elevators are bit small and only two so have to be patient with other guests with luggage rack. Coffee station was quickly snatched away by 7am--what the hell? Otherwise I would stay there again.

The room itself was nice and comfortable and location was great. Front desk and valet staff were great. However- over 4 days, no cleaning service; no water refresh; no hot water at all on the last day (boiler shut off). That wasn’t as expec

It’s a very cute boutique style hotel. I loved receiving a key with a graduate’s name and brief bio. It’s in a great location. Very walkable. The campus provides a free shuttle to everyone . Some should have perhaps told us that. Breakfast was not included and was a little pricey. However it was very good and our waitress was really nice. I would definitely stay there again.

Clean, good location. When booking it said breakfast included but we had to grab (& pay) for food at the cafe. We did have lunch in the restaurant which was very good but no food was included like the booking stated. Housekeeping was very late (5 PM), but they did provide the items we requested as soon as they could.

Cute hotel. Close to UMich Campus and restaurants.

Staff was polite and accommodating.

Rooms are charming as are the public spaces. Thematically all related to advanced studies. Great location. Parking is ridiculously priced for a smaller city. Staff very nice but front desk could use more staffing as it took fifteen minutes to check out as the desk clerk was on the phone on an extended call. Could have used back up. Despite only offering valet parking the car hops were very fast and efficient.

Do not stay here. I hated the crazy narrow wooden saloon doors on the bathroom and weird rum scented soap. Fitness center was very small with complicated Matrix machine. I won't be back.
