Tropic Motel

i reserved the motel ONE month in advance. i got my reservation canceled because i didn’t respond to a confirmation within 2 hours of the check in. (i was busy stranded on the side of the highway because my car’s transmission blew). I get picked up by my dad, check my phone to see they canceled my reservation. when i looked to see if i could get it back, i found out they sold my room for 3X the price. horrible.

Good place to stay,rooms cleaned everyday

Very convenient location. It was what I expected for the price. The bed was hard, but I don't mind that. The motel is rundown and needs a complete makeover. The room & linens were clean but needs a deep clean (wipe down walls, door frames, etc). A new paint job would do it good. Recommend you bring your own towels as the ones they have are rough and small.

Two minutes away from my work Almost everything that has to deal with that place. Stains on the bed stains on the sheets. The room smelled really bad. The bed was harder than a rock.

Nice quiet area decent place to stay for a quick stay

Room was clean, Staff met us and gave us our key even though we got there at 11:30pm SO GRATEFUL FOR THAT, super easy drive to the beach, very comfortable for the price. Would stay again. I'm the kind of person who spends more on the actvities than the place we sleep, so I loved staying here! I felt safe and would stay again.

The staff is courteous. The location is ideal. The room was a little musty. A bit run down. Definitely need to work on getting new bed sheets, Blankets, and pillow cases because just about every piece of thread seems to have some sort of stain.

Location Towels where worst than a rag I use for my car. Bed so damn hard. I could hear the people talking, coughing and spitting in the next room. Light next to bed had a short in it, was afraid it would catch fire. Too much of a gap between door and door frame.

The sink water had a horrible smell.

The AC had no way to control the fan speed, only the temperature, so it made for alternating periods of freezing (set to 72) & being too warm. But at least it did work. The towels in the bathroom looked very old, well worn & frazzled, with a very rough texture. But they dried off & did their job. No AC reached the bathroom area, so it got hot quickly.

The beds were some of the worse as in comfort. They were hard and left my body feeling bruised. I n 2 others thought the same

I liked it didn’t cost to much for the 3 days. It was not what I thought from the pictures. The towels were stained and everyday they would turn our a/c up to 75 degrees. So it wasn’t as cold as we liked when we would get back from the beach. Over all won’t stay there again. But it’s that old saying “you get what you pay for”

There was no breakfast. tight limitrd parking. weatherstripping on front door...hot air leaks. replace old hinges and a better paint job of touchup areas.

The hotel isn’t the Ritz but check in was quick and easy. Daily linen changes and everything worked as it should! We booked for the price and just for a weekend. It was fine for me and my wife. The property was very quiet as well which was nice! I’d recommend it to anyone looking for something cheap and comfortable!

It was dirty, it was musty, I didn’t feel safe. I’m pretty sure they rent these rooms by the hour.
