Tropic Motel

From the outside, we weren't too sure but the inside was great. It was a normal room with what we needed.And the shower actually was very nice with the marble and everything. Definitely a place to stay with great location around H Eb. And other stores around.

It’s a get what you pay for. The staff are very nice. We didn’t want to camp on the beach in July. The room was a step above camping.

Clean room, quiet.

It was beautiful and the staff were very helpful, the prices to stay there was good for my trip..and it’s right there around all the other shopping stores are at so you really didn’t have to drive far

The room was clean, but it was an old room.

i reserved the motel ONE month in advance. i got my reservation canceled because i didn’t respond to a confirmation within 2 hours of the check in. (i was busy stranded on the side of the highway because my car’s transmission blew). I get picked up by my dad, check my phone to see they canceled my reservation. when i looked to see if i could get it back, i found out they sold my room for 3X the price. horrible.

Good place to stay,rooms cleaned everyday

Close to the ferry, clean rooms, quiet. The value is exceptional I'd recommend this place for budget minded people wanting to enjoy themselves and save money. Everything is good, I recommend that you try a stay.

The motel is rundown and needs a complete makeover. The room & linens were clean but needs a deep clean (wipe down walls, door frames, etc). A new paint job would do it good. Recommend you bring your own towels as the ones they have are rough and small.

Two minutes away from my work Almost everything that has to deal with that place. Stains on the bed stains on the sheets. The room smelled really bad. The bed was harder than a rock.

Nice quiet area decent place to stay for a quick stay

Room was clean, Staff met us and gave us our key even though we got there at 11:30pm SO GRATEFUL FOR THAT, super easy drive to the beach, very comfortable for the price. Would stay again. I'm the kind of person who spends more on the actvities than the place we sleep, so I loved staying here! I felt safe and would stay again.

The staff is courteous. The location is ideal. The room was a little musty. A bit run down. Definitely need to work on getting new bed sheets, Blankets, and pillow cases because just about every piece of thread seems to have some sort of stain.

Location Towels where worst than a rag I use for my car. Bed so damn hard. I could hear the people talking, coughing and spitting in the next room. Light next to bed had a short in it, was afraid it would catch fire. Too much of a gap between door and door frame.

The pillows were to soft and flat. The sink water had a horrible smell.

Location was great. Staff was very friendly for checking in. They called that afternoon to confirm my arrival time. Easy access to the room with parking just outside the door. Room was very clean. Free Wi-Fi even if it was rather slow (9.7 mbps upload & download speeds). Shower was very nice. The bathroom looked newly remodeled. The bed was so hard, that it was like sleeping on the floor. We only got a few hours of sleep before my body protested the pain being caused. The AC had no way to control the fan speed, only the temperature, so it made for alternating periods of freezing (set to 72) & being too warm. But at least it did work. The towels in the bathroom looked very old, well worn & frazzled, with a very rough texture. But they dried off & did their job. No AC reached the bathroom area, so it got hot quickly.
