Quality Inn & Suites Arden Hills - Saint Paul North

Nice place. Great, comfy beds!

Thank you for a pleasant stay; the rooms overall were very clean and well-maintained. However, I wanted to share some critical feedback regarding the beds. When we first got into the rooms, we noticed that the head ends of the beds were lower than the foot ends. The mattresses feel worn and extremely soft, causing us to sink in so deeply that our bodies were at an uncomfortable incline, which ultimately left me with back pain. Upgrading to firmer, more supportive mattresses would make a huge difference in the guest experience.

Breakfast was superb. The variety of items was extensive.

Looked and even smelled clean and fresh. Bed was soft. Almost too soft which is rare for a hotel. Room was quiet. Breakfast was mediocre like too many hotels. And eating with plastic on throwaway plates is lousy.

Small, clean rooms. Limited, but nice breakfast. Convenient location. Unremarkably okay.

I loved the bed. I didn’t like the low quality soap/shampoo/conditioner. Smell in the hallway could be improved but the room was clean and quiet with nice blackout curtains.

The only problem we had with this stay was the HVAC: it didn’t work very well. If the temperature was set at 70 degrees, the air wasn’t cooled and was damp. When we came back after being gone all day, the room smelled musty and everything was damp. Then, in order to remove the dampness, we had to turn the temperature down to 66 or 67, which is much too cold! We weren’t comfortable either way. Something needs done to the HVAC in room 140. Otherwise, the hotel, including breakfast, was perfectly fine and in a good location for our purposes.

The staff went out of their way to be very helpful.

The bed was super, super comfy. The Breakfast had excellent choices too, plus fresh fruit. The only thing I didn't like was that the orange juice tasted watered down.

plain oatmeal would've been a nice touch! the flavored stuff just has too much sugar.

Well-priced, clean, good breakfast, welcoming staff - I would stay there again!

I was very surprised by the cleanliness and the comfort of the rooms at such an affordable rate. Staff hospitality was great and very interactive and accommodating.
