Too much drama and too many rules. They are too anal.

The facility is clean, linen was excellent, the staff was great. Kyle and China were pleasant, helpful and accommodating for my stay. Location was quiet and exceeded my expectations. I liked all aspects of the stay. Nothing that I would want to be different.

Friendly staff, cozy and very clean facilities!

Feng shui has been greatly improved this week. Great library! It's cool that there are a guitar and games provided. Good quality and quantity of shared food pantry and refrigerated items make it easy for travelers. It isn't clear where to keep one's non refrigerated food items. That could be clearer. There was a woman there this past week who has assumed the role of a house mother. She has contributed to an improved interior design, however she talks a lot and doesn't have great boundaries (the values and hazards of hosteling). The couches are not comfortable, which is a shame, as the living room area feels welcoming and inviting.

Bed was comfortable and other guests where friendly. Weather was cold outside but inside was warm and cozy.

Everything I needed was provided. I was more than happy!!!

I stayed here during a quick trip to visit friends and see an OSF play, and ended up meeting some lovely PCT hikers and having a great stay. I booked a private room that felt very private and was very clean and cozy. I'll definitely keep this in mind for future trips!

I loved every single thing and I hope to come back regularly

I do think in general the place is a great place to stay if you need peace and quiet.. there is a no alcohol rule....I do enjoy a glass of wine with my dinner but was happy to comply. It's a little out of the way which shouldn't be a problem for hikers. I came from another hotel so didn't need to go through the showering and laundry process.

Good location with short walk to downtown Ashland. Very clean and exceptionally friendly and professional staff. The AC was weak. The first night it was very warm. I found a floor fan that helped. The next night there was AC but it was weak.
