Ashland Springs Hotel

My problem was the very soft and sagging bed. It was like sleeping in a hammock. Everything else was great. Very nice staff.

This is well maintained historical property located in the middle of town. It is close to restaurants,shops and theater. It is my favorite place to stay when visiting Ashland.

But there were only 2 outlets (each 1/2 in use) for 2 people with electronics. This required planning on our part which is hard because we value spontaneity. The petite queen IS petite! You can turn around (somewhat) so be warned. Most definitely skip the $5 breakfast and Lark's restaurant is not good given the excellent places that are a few doors down. At check out, there are a lot of inexpensive charges that add up to about $18 extra (not including the activity fee). If walking a bit doesn't bother you, I would skip this place

You'll find a warm and nostalgic charm here in this historical hotel building centrally located to the theatre's, restaurants and the Lithia Park area. Lovely architecture and architectural elements that draw the eye and engage the mind. The king room and bath was a bit small but its charm and the corner view more than made up for it. Staff were pleasant and accommodating when asked. The young woman at the front desk was quite informative and personable. Do visit the well kept garden area. It's a quiet and enjoyable atmosphere - a perfect place for sipping your morning coffee!

Beautiful hotel and decorated nicely.

May I suggest bike rentals from the hotel would be nice, or just a bike corral for people who are camping and would like to have dinner @ Larks. It was a great experience. My girlfriend and I are planning next years perofrmances. thank you. 5 stars all the way.

Delightful historic hotel, centrally located. Room was stylish and the lobby is a comfortable, beautiful place to relax. Do friendly!!

We were moved 3 times to get an accessible shower. Gave up when the “accessible “ shower had no handle bars. This is a 104 year old hotel with cheap updating. Our king room had a bathroom in which it literally was difficult to turn around. Cannot recommend this property which does have a great location. That location got us there. Never again!

Everything, especially the location downtown and EV charging

This historic hotel is absolutely gorgeous and a pleasure to stay in. The entire building was beautifully decorated in a natural history theme and everything looked like it had recently been painted. Our room had 2 Queen size beds and was super spacious and just a pleasure to stay in. Every minor detail was superbly decorated. The room was comfortable and clean. We had a small living area and a nice bathroom. The hotel is within easy walking distance of local restaurants and theaters, and Ashland is a super cute town. The hotel offers a low cost breakfast but we went out for brunch at Greenleaf (not too far away) and it was delicious. The bathroom was well maintained and beautiful, but I have two very tiny comments. I wish the shower head could be downgraded and the airflow upgraded. The tub is small. Having a large rain showerhead was nice, but meant there was little room to get out of the way of the water and it was a bit strong. The air circulation pushes cold air under the bathroom door, freezing your feet and making the door slam shut when you try to close it lightly. Watch out for fingers of little ones if staying here. But honestly, these are two such tiny quibbles and the room was sumptuous and a total pleasure to stay in. We would definitely come back.

Location perfect for going to the theater. Hotel ambience very pleasing, room just right (safety features in bathtub particularly appreciated). Staff very helpful. Onsite parking appreciated, also access to parking through hotel. The procedures for breakfast were unclear, and the hot food was dried out. But at that price one really can’t complain; the fruit, oatmeal and toast were enough.
