Ashland Springs Hotel

The breakfast was a surprise. The price included a full breakfast of sausage and eggs as well as fruit, toast, and pastries. At $5 that was a bargain! Not much. Cheese on the side for the eggs?

The front desk staff were all great, especially Jonathan! Breakfast option for $5 a morning was excellent and the cookies in the afternoon were a great touch!

It was close to the Shakespeare festival site. We had a great view. Breakfast was the same as the free breakfast at the hotel down the road. Air conditioning was good. There were big stains in several places on the carpet in our room.

we appreciated the wonderful staff. Since the hotel is older, the one small elevator was the only way to avoid lots of stairs.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone I liked.

Room was spotless. The shower had good pressure and was hot. The bed was comfortable. Wonderful view of downtown Ashland, and very close to all of the shopping, dining, and Oregon Shakespeare Festival. $15/day “facilities” fee that covers parking, WiFi, and access to a gym down the road. I wish this was noted in the listing, but instead it came as a surprise during check-in/out.

Room is quite small actually, not like what you normally expect from the picture on the hotel's webpage.

We love this charming, cheery, historic hotel, and always stay there when we pass through Ashland. Great location, cozy rooms with comfy beds, pretty public spaces and delish breakfast on site.

Wonderful restored hotel in its full 1920’s grandeur. Lovely corner room with wide vistas of Ashland duty and Bear Mountain. Fabulous hot breakfast. Nothing.

Historic building decorated Victorian eclectic, lovely lobby and rooms, comfortable beds and linens. Breakfast for $5 but wasn’t very good but for the price and convenience you can always have coffee and toast. The rooms really need a deep clean, carpets and sofa were in need of a shampoo. Bathroom was clean not much shelf space We had the 2queen room with a sitting area so comfortable. The best thing is location very short walk to shops restaurants and the theaters. I will stay here again.

Ashland Springs Hotel is the best-located hotel in Ashland for purposes of attending the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Staff is uniformly helpful and the amenities (including modest breakfast for $5,) are great. Any issues are merely quibbles (e.g. breakfast offerings could be more diverse, coffee pot should be reliably restocked on mezzanine). Overall, great stay! Expensive, but worth it!

This is an historic hotel celebrating 100 years this year. It is centrally located on Main Street so it is a perfect location for shopping and dining. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are small but to be expected with the age of the hotel. The best part of this stay is there is secure, free parking behind the hotel and it is literally only a one block walk to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF) theaters. We stay here regularly when we attend OSF.

My daughter and I have stayed at this hotel for the last three years as a girl trip to see a play at OSF and love this hotel for its proximity and history.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is historic and super centrally located. The rooms were charming but the carpet was really stained. The location of our room was not ideal, directly next to the door to the parking lot which made it kind of noisy.

The Ashland Springs is a well-run and well maintained 100-year-old property! The Larks restaurant was great and also their morning breakfast buffet.

Our room was comfortable, cozy, and had that unique charm you just don’t get from modern chain hotels. What we loved most was the peaceful, relaxed atmosphere. It felt like staying somewhere with a story and personality rather than just another hotel. If you’re visiting Ashland, we definitely recommend the Ashland Springs Hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful Additional facility charges on my recent booking that were not indicated in the Booking.com reservation.. Room was only serviced every 3 days. Early check-in request via email was never responded to and room was not ready upon arrival. My inquiry about the validity of the $15 a day facility charge never received a response
