Liked the welcome watermelon, water, cookies, and coffee out at 6:00am. Breakfast was great and liked that it was out before 7:00am to allow early start for hiking. Great Bang for the buck, will stay there again.

I called multiple times to confirm my reservation, the front desk clerk angrily told me that I did not have a reservation. When I called Expedia and then called back the hotel to confirm, the clerk told me "Oh you should have said you were coming tonight, yeah we have you here". When I eventually checked in, the staff had left my key and a map inside an envelope OUTSIDE. I called the number on the map to ask for directions and the person on the other side of the phone was extremely rude and aggressive. The map to my room was so confusing that I needed another person from the conference (another guest) to help me figure it out. I am so glad that my stay at this facility is so short, I advise management to better train their front desk clerks with basic customer service skills. Aspen is beautiful and the property sits in a wonderful neighborhood--what a shame that the people who work here make this place horrible.

Reasonable price for a room in Aspen, room was quite small, with some building works outside the property. The team were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was ok.

This hotel is an endangered slice of old Aspen, nestled at the foot of Ajax on the west end of town. I walked into a cozy, beautifully maintained lobby that felt both fresh and inviting and was greeted by the kind of genuinely welcoming front desk staff that have become all too rare. It felt as though I had stepped back into Aspen of the 1980s—not dated or stuffy, but warm, comfortable, and effortlessly charming. I found myself wanting to linger in the window seat overlooking the mountain or curl up on the sofa beside the fireplace. The rooms were spotless and exceptionally well maintained. The complimentary breakfast exceeded my expectations. The buffet included a variety of cereals, breads and bagels (including gluten-free Udi's products), yogurt, fresh berries and bananas, hard-boiled eggs, and juice. It was exactly what I needed to fuel an active day in the mountains. In a town where luxury often feels manufactured, this hotel offers something increasingly rare: genuine hospitality, character, and a sense of place.

Fantastic stay — truly the best value in Aspen. The hotel sits in a quiet, beautiful corner just a short walk from everything, and the property is impeccably maintained. The heated pool is a dream, and breakfast each morning was lovely. What really stood out was the staff — incredibly kind, attentive, and truly excited to make your stay perfect. Such a gem. I can’t wait to come back.
