Stains on the comforter and bathroom. Beware: the picture of the building on the site is not where they tried to put me...it was more like a rundown motel so I left. Thankfully, I found a room elsewhere that night.
-
Rooms needed to be prepared for the guests better.

A summary: Pros: -cheaper than most downtown hotels -walkable distance to downtown Athens -saw a cute friendly cat in the parking lot Cons (lol): -no ID check upon check-in -very sketchy desk clerk put me (F) in a room directly under his apparent long-term housing. He and another man stayed up all night smoking and pacing the room above us. -room smelt like ashtray -hair in bathtub -no plunger, toilet clogged -found used tobacco pouches behind the nightstand -linens and towels stained and smelled -only 2 towels -considered leaving in the middle of the night I would advise not staying here, especially if you are a female traveling alone.

The rooms were dated. They could have used a refresh. There were no cups in the room. I had to use one I got at a gas station. There doesn't seem to be enough parking for guests when the hotel is full. Brock, the clerk on duty when I checked in was very friendly but the clerk at check out was not.

No cups/glasses in the room.

Avoid this location if at all possible. Nasty rooms, linen, and bathroom filled with mold. The staff was also rude and very disrespectful. Several attempts with management and they block your number.

Decent stay, no frills, as expected

Dirty. Looks like a run down Motel 6. Stains on the provided bedsheets and towels. Ants in the bathroom. This hotel room should've been $50 a night, what an absolute joke of a facility.

Breakfast was horrible. No one was working at the front desk at 7:30am. I will NEVER stay there again

Insects are the room

We stayed 2 nights. A pool and spa were listed on several websites but we learned on arrival it closed 6 years ago. Also no one came to clean the room and there was no apology or move to rectify. We just called at least get more towels. Breakfast staff were great. Location was convenient and beds comfortable but not sure we would stay again.

The first room I was assigned had a strong marijuana smell, and I had to request a room change immediately. The staff responded quickly, which I appreciated. The second room was better, but I then discovered a yellow, crusty substance on the top sheet. To be clear, I touched it, and it had texture, so I had to request a completely new set of sheets. Additional cleanliness concerns included: A plunger in the bathroom with toilet paper still attached Two towels with grayish-black stains The staff was polite and responded quickly to both of my requests, which was the only real positive part of the stay. For $231 per night, this property is significantly overpriced for the condition of the rooms. The motel is in serious need of a deep cleaning and overall renovation.

1 dirty bath towel, only food vending machine broken, fridge broken, a/c clank noises, floors turned white socks black, shower whistled, half of light switch gone-seriously, and people gathered in mobs smoking crack outside at 1am.

Granted this was UGA graduation weekend and demand was high- the price we paid for our rooms was a little out of whack for what you get. Everything is pretty dated and not that nice. Room had a busted toilet paper and towel rack, bed sheet had stain on it. There’s only one elevator that goes to upper floors which doesn’t work well with high occupancy. However if price were much lower which is probably the case on most days then I would’ve been more satisfied. The staff is friendly enough. The lady in the breakfast room was very nice and friendly. The parking situation is good. The location is pretty good because it’s walkable to downtown Athens.

Mattress was hard, sheets rough, towels stained, shower dirty. Bad location on noisy road. They lock the lobby to keep homeless out, saw them tell one to leave when he tried to get through locked doors. The free breakfast was worthless, no coffee and practically out of food by 7AM.
-
There was trash outside the room. Hairballs on the floor. Stained sheets. Tub would not drain. Staff never asked if our stay was okay. Would not recommend! The positive was the roof did not leak during the storm.

The hotel and the room were very nice. The bed was comfortable. We had a three night stay but housekeeping never cleaned our room. We had to go down to the front desk for clean towels. Also. They ran out of coffee.
