Just cleaning, cleaning and improving in general
-
The automatic doors don’t work. You have to push them open really hard or they just stay open all day. No where is disclosed on what type of card you can use for the security deposit on the website I purchased my room. My bedding had stains. Was also told I received my security deposit at 12 after check in. Currently 12:43 and still no deposit back

We found the hotel to be very clean, and the staff to be friendly and helpful. However, much of the property was in need of repairs or replacement.
-
Not very well-maintained - some of the doors and furniture had frayed bottoms where the wood had rotted. Not very well-cleaned - the elevator floor was not very clean, the vanity in the bathroom had dust on the edges and behind the vanity was visible dirt.

The problems started immediately. The lobby TV was blaring while the front desk associate wore earbuds. We were given poor directions to the elevators, the first elevator was out of service with no sign, and the second was old, dimly lit, and felt unsafe. Our “non-smoking” room reeked of cigarette smoke, despite the hotel warning guests they’ll be charged if smoke is detected. The room was filthy with trash on the floor, worn furniture, a noisy AC, and a bathroom with standing water, water damage, broken doors, a non-working exhaust fan, and two car air fresheners hanging inside to cover odors. We requested another room. The associate interrupted us while we explained the issues, then reprogrammed our key to what she said was a first-floor room. We opened the door to find two guests in bed. The front desk had assigned us an occupied room. We immediately demanded a refund and left. Being given access to an occupied room is an unacceptable security failure. We checked into a SpringHill Suites instead, where the staff was professional, sympathetic, and even gave us a discount after hearing what happened. Avoid this hotel. It’s dirty, poorly maintained, and has serious safety and management issues.

Nice.

Parking was absolutely wonderful

Parking was easy. Staff was helpful. Room appeared clean, but common areas were not that clean. A good value for the price though and conveniently located.

The staff was very nice and the food was good

The one nice thing I can say about this hotel is that the staff was very polite. Neither one of my TVs were working. A maintenance man did come to my room quickly and came back with new equipment and got them working. I was unable to phone the front desk because no one would answer so I did have to go downstairs to get a maintenance man to my room. As for the room, there was an arm chair that was completely stained. A couch with cushions that were so old they were both misshapen. The room smelled of smoke even though it’s a no smoking hotel. The solution offered by staff was to call housekeeping and ask for some air freshener. It was clear that the carpet had not been vacuumed. When I went into the bathroom, it was equally clear that the toilet had not been cleaned. There was hair on the toilet along with a very clear ring inside the toilet showing that no one had scrubbed it. The shower was not used because I was scared to use anything in the bathroom. There was mold along the top frame. Toilet paper was down to its last few sheets. I found this out as I used my own hand sanitizer on a wash rag to clean the toilet and then dry it with toilet paper. There were stains on all of the lampshades throughout the room. I took the bed apart layer by layer to make sure that the sheets were clean. The mattress was wrapped, and all of the sheets were clean. So I found that getting in the bed felt like the best place to be. I was only there overnight. I will not return.

Although the hotel is advertised as non-smoking, guests frequently smoked near the side entrances, and the smell of smoke often carried into the elevators and hallways. Bathroom toiletries were also not consistently replenished during our stay. Cleanliness was a major concern. Hallways, elevators, and walkways were often dirty, with spilled drinks and wet floors left unattended. One of the elevators was out of service for several days, and the swimming pool was closed throughout our stay. The breakfast service was particularly disappointing. At closing time, staff immediately shut down the food stations and removed food, plates, and utensils even while guests were still eating or waiting for items to be prepared. When we asked for assistance, no one responded. Overall, we expected basic cleanliness, functioning facilities, and courteous customer service. Unfortunately, the hotel fell well short of those expectations, and we do not feel the stay was worth the price we paid.

The room was quite fine. The staff wa professional Otherwise, I couldn't get the tv to work and breakfast was practically inedible, aside from a bagel and yoghurt. The eggs did not taste anything like eggs and the potatoes were only half cooked.
-
The toilet was not comfort level height, which we would have expected in a room that was as up-to-date as ours. That's a deal breaker for elderly patrons like us. Also, there were no washcloths in the bathroom, and we couldn't operate the TV. However, to their credit, the staff was quick to correct these deficiencies.

The entire property is pretty dirty which surprised me because salty springs is a pretty good area. The breakfast is below average. The room was okay actually, but no closet. If you’re looking for the bare minimum then this works :).

Our room was dirty, and the couch in the living area was covered in stains that made it unusable. The bathroom sink faucet barely trickled out any water, the sink drains were missing stoppers, the hallway trash cans were overrun with ants, and the parking lot was also dirty. The biggest issue was the pool. We booked this hotel because it advertised having one, only to find out at check-in on Friday that it was closed "for repairs." It remained closed when we checked out on Sunday. Had this been disclosed before booking, we would have stayed elsewhere. We weren't the only disappointed guests—several other families with young children expressed the same frustration. To make matters worse, a hotel employee knocked on our door at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, despite us staying another night after a late check-in. When my wife answered and asked why we were being disturbed so early, the employee gave her an attitude about not displaying the "Do Not Disturb" sign, which had fallen inside the closet. This property is not a good representation of the La Quinta brand. Better cleanliness, customer service, maintenance, and transparency about unavailable amenities are needed.

I would give 1 to 2 stars for the overall experience, even though the room itself and the bed were actually great. To be fair, the front desk staff specifically Al and Mike were absolutely so wonderful and very polite and the whole reason I loved staying here. However, major maintenance and service issues completely ruined the stay. The shower drain was completely backed up, causing water to fill the tub immediately, making it totally unusable. Despite the front desk granting us an approved 12:00 PM late checkout, housekeeping kept trying to wake us up by knocking on our door at around 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM, then stood right outside pressuring us at noon because it was the girls last room of the day so she could go home. The pool was closed yet again, it seems like it’s going to be down the whole summer. This my fourth stay here where it was out of order, despite Expedia continuing to advertise it as available. The parking is great, but there’s hardly any luggage carts, I think maybe 2, and the guests don’t bring them down when finished. When I called support, Expedia refused a proper refund claiming they couldn't reach the manager on duty. Due to this total lack of accountability, a formal complaint has been filed with the BBB

Staff was not helpful or available at front desk at all times. I stayed 3days 2 nights and was told they dont clean the room unless I stay 3 nights. Very disappointing.

I would say I'm disappointed with my stay over all. The pool was under maintenance and it wasn't communicated to us beforehand. I had to move the dates of my travel and tried to change my reservation through the hotel and Travelocity, neither place could do it or give me a refund. When I got to the hotel to check in (there was a day overlap from my previous booking) the guy said you should try and get a refund, but also said that we were already checked in and there was someone in the rooms.... then instead of having him or another enoloyee go, he gave us keys and said to check it out. And needless to say we didn't get to have 4 rooms even though we paid for 4. The room they gave us was nice but the ac is leaking, tv has a hole in thr side, the stand it is on has a lot of damage to it, and our lock bar broke 20 minutes into our stay. The main elevator broke a day into our trip and there is nothing indicating that it is broken even though we have reported it. And finally the elevators do not work in an emergency even though we had someone in a wheelchair on the 3rd floor, this might not come matter too often.... but some of the breakfast equipment start to smoke and suddenly my mother was trapped on the 3rd floor with the alarms going and us having no idea what to do (we did get her out safely and didn't abandon her). Oh and the doors do not shut all the way so unless you make sure to close it your room is COMPLETELY UNLOCKED!!!! There is more but I do not have room!

Tv didn’t work our 1st night but was resolved the next day. Good location for our stay. Staff was helpful and friendly
