I’ve had better rooms & stays

Smelled like mildew and the tub drain was slow

Clean rooms, good staff, very quiet( and close to highway). The pillow cases are rough and need to be replaced, The air conditioning was great except in the hallways. I would definitely stay again.

Seems like your average budget hotel off the side of the highway. Staff was super friendly with a pool and breakfast included but no bar or restaurant.

Secure parking

Our second time at Sonesta. Stayed at truist park location first time. We were very impressed with everything it offered. GT location is Older and could use some updates. Lobby seemed more updated than rooms. Microwave at end of hall along with ice machine which didn’t work. Had to go to desk clerk to get ice. Lamps between beds did not function. Didn’t complain we had sufficient lighting. Overall a great stay at a great price.

Staffs were courteous and professional. Room is considered pretty clean and quiet. AC is excellent.

I ended up leaving and staying at Sonesta South due to odor in the rooms. Two rooms smelt like mildew .

Clean room, nice people, best price and lots of parking right next to GA Tech campus. Great little college town type eateries that stay open late in walking distance. I would definitely stay again.

Killed a huge roach in my room, didn't see any more but I was on the 7th floor.

The spirit of mold was present within the room and so bad that I couldn’t breathe. The humidity was terrible. You can’t even open the window. You can do anything about it. I’ll highly recommend going somewhere else.

Good well located reasonably priced option from which to enjoy the city.

I did have a lovely time with the room-service staff member who had the dog-greeter with him. That was very nice! An interesting interaction: they serve Starbucks coffee there but had a difficult time with my order. I asked for an Americano with 4 shots of espresso (which was repeated twice), and I ordered an additional coffee for my husband. When she handed me the Americano she told me, "I made you a regular Americano as well, because I wasn't sure about you." So, I said to her, "this is the coffee with the four shots?" as I pointed to the drinks that were already in the carrier. She said, "yes." I said, "oh good! That's what I wanted - 4 shots."

The hotel was decent overall, but there were a few disappointing aspects. Parking is charged separately at $28 per day, which should be made clearer. There was only one staff member at the front desk when I arrived and again the next morning, resulting in slow service. The bathroom and bed sheets were also not as clean as expected.

A/C wasn’t enough to keep the room temperature. Ropes were broken, tv remote ran out of batteries, nightstand lamp wasn’t working, power outlets were not working. I had to call to the font desk and the room phone wasn’t working. For the price you can find something better.

This place is in the heart of Atlanta. Extremely nice. I was there during the World Cup. They kept their prices normal. While everybody else in this city raise their prices . They are a great company.
