    100/10 - I travel a lot and this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. The hotel is quiet, the staff is so friendly and respectful and the facility was spotless.

    Upon arrival, there were no regular pillows in the room. After tracking down housekeeping, I was given two pillows, but neither had pillowcases. Housekeeping also never serviced my room during my week-long stay. When I asked the front desk, I was told they would try to fit me into the schedule and asked me to leave my trash outside the room, but no one ever came. The shower was only lukewarm at the beginning of the week and had a slow leak. By the end of my stay, the water was completely cold. The kitchenette was not well stocked. Many of the bowls and supplies were stored too high for me to reach comfortably, and there were only two spoons and one fork available. Coffee packets were provided, but there was no coffee maker in the room. I booked this hotel intending to work from my room all week, but the air conditioning unit was located directly beside the desk, making it uncomfortable to work while it was running. My room also faced the highway, and the traffic noise was noticeable. Lastly, the breakfast was mediocre at best. I genuinely wanted to like this property, but the lack of basic amenities, housekeeping service, and overall attention to guest comfort left me disappointed.

    ​The primary issue involved incorrect billing. I prepaid for my stay, but an additional preauthorization for the full room rate was placed on my card. When I brought this to the manager’s attention, she was apologetic and assured me the hold would be removed within two days, instructing me to call her back if it wasn't. The charge did finally fall off, but it took a full week to do so. Furthermore, during that week, I made two phone calls and left a voicemail to follow up as instructed, but I never received a callback. The lack of communication was disappointing. ​Additionally, the room itself had some maintenance oversights. Upon check-in, the TV remote was completely non-functional, and there was no hot water in the shower. ​On a positive note, the room was clean, the bed pillows were very comfortable, and I appreciated that Lactaid milk was offered as an option during breakfast. However, due to the maintenance issues and the frustration regarding the billing communication, I would hesitate to stay here again.

    The front desk staff was very friendly - no complaints there. Our room however did not meet cleanliness standards. It hadn't been vacuumed before our stay so there was debris all over the floor making it impossible to walk barefoot on any of the carpeted surfaces without stepping on crumbs, pebbles, and whatever else was on the floor. The dishwasher had a Band-Aid in the bottom of it which was disgusting. The showers also never got hot; there was warm water but no hot water for a shower despite having hot water in the sinks. Overall it served it's purpose of a place to sleep but the photos and the presentation online made this property look much nicer than it actually was.

    Jordan, at the front desk, was super helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The shampoo and body wash containers were empty in the shower, but we just used what we travel with. Room was quiet and clean. Enjoyed our stay.

    Nice kitchen which I didn't need for my stay. Great staff. Good breakfast. Shower product dispensers were all empty so make sure to bring your own. No big deal. They really need to fix up that scary looking elevator.

    I liked the location and it was easy to locate. The room was great with a view of the outside pool and basketball court. The room was still very quiet even though it was next to them. The only thing I have issue with is the now common motel standard of using tiny/small pillows on beds. I usually bring my own pillow but this time I was traveling on my motorcycle.. A small issue I admit.

    We finally went to room 139 for the night. When we tried to take a shower the next morning, the water was cold. We were in a hurry so took a cold shower and notified the female at the front desk. She apologized & said she would assign a different room when one was ready. We were planning to be away the entire day and told her we would be back at 9pm. She said we could leave our belongings in our room but I packed up and took our suitcases with us. She said she would leave a note for the person at the desk in the evening. When we arrived at 9pm on June 15, the desk clerk had no idea what we were talking about. She was looking at her computer when I saw an old looking note taped on the desk with "DO NOT BOOK THESE ROOMS". And guess what room was 139....our original room. She then booked us in another room, which was a handicapped room that we didn't need and had a very strange shower. At least we had hot water this time. Needless to say, next visit to Michigan will not be at either of the 2 Sonesta hotels in Auburn Hills.

    The room was clean and nice size. The kitchenette was a nice touch. Unfortunately there wasn’t any hot water. The only way to get luke warm water in the sink was turning the bath faucet on for awhile. Then the next morning we found luke warm shower water that rapidly went to ice cold. Brought this up when checking out, was not offered a credit but was told we were the second to complain. We forgot garment. Tried to call no answer at your hotel phone. No response to email sent either. Very disturbing after a bad morning at your facility!! I felt I was very generous in my rating for your hotel given these experiences!

    We were there for a nearby concert brkfst was over before we woke. The king suite was above the loby/mechanical room.It was very noisy all night long

    The location The room was a handicapped room. It wasn't clean, towel rack fallen off the wall. No where to hang things in the bathroom. Couch was filthy. Floors were sticky not sweeped. No remote for the main room. Breakfast not good. Manager. Never there. Charged 100.00 more before check- out nobody seemed to know how. Called manager no answer. This place needs to be reported. Customers were complaining constantly.

    The location was good. The breakfast was good. The hotel appeared to be fairly new from the outside but the room we stayed in needed some updating. The desk chair was ripped. The headboard was what appeared to be some sort of plastic and had numerous rips in it.

    We absolutely loved this apartment. The staff was excellent at the front desk on that Monday. They were so helpful. The amount of space we had was incredible. We were so happy with the full kitchen to cook for the family of 5. The only thing I can say is the sweeping of the floors could have been better. We found a few dead bugs behind them but nothing we couldn’t do ourselves

    Room 339 does not have hot water. We ran the shower for 10+ minutes and it was as cold as hose water. The only way to get the water to heat up was by continuously running the tap, and even then it would turn ice cold the second the shower was turned on. Sleep was difficult with uncomfortable thick and firm pillows, and you can hear traffic after 8AM. We didn’t make use of the pool or attend breakfast. At first glance, this hotel is excellent however these are important details that contribute to having an enjoyable stay.
