Staying at the Center Street Value Inn wasn’t just a mistake; it was a descent into a filthy, disorganized nightmare that no one should ever have to endure. We arrived late at night, exhausted from a long journey, only to be greeted by what can only be described as a construction zone masquerading as a hotel. The noise and dust were apparent, but we were too tired to say anything at the time. The next morning, I had to leave early for an obligation, and while I was out, I received a call from the manager telling me that we needed to move rooms due to some mysterious “issue.” Fine, I thought, we’ll handle it once I return. However, when we came back later that afternoon, the story had somehow changed. The front desk suddenly claimed that everything was “resolved,” and that we didn’t need to move after all. Despite this blatant contradiction, we insisted on being relocated. The clerk, who seemed confused and entirely uninterested in helping, told us we’d have to wait for the manager. And wait we did—for more than two hours—only for the manager to never show up. The level of disrespect and sheer incompetence on display was beyond belief. It was clear we were not dealing with professionals, but with people who couldn’t care less about their guests. At that point, we decided to leave. As we headed to our room to collect our belongings, the hotel’s true horrors revealed themselves. The hallways were littered with construction debris—dust, dirt, and broken materials strewn everywhere. Workers, caked in filth, were running back and forth like it was some kind of chaotic construction site, not a place where people were expected to sleep. To top it off, our window screen had been damaged while we were out, leaving a gaping hole that hadn’t been there before. Who knows what had crawled in during our absence. Once inside the room, we were confronted with a scene so revolting that I’m still stunned Booking.

There were cobwebs in the room. There was breakfast advertised but no breakfast provided. There was no Wi-Fi. Vending machines were out of order.

Less than nothing!! I never give reviews! So between this site not doing their homework work. They would have known it was a college Dom Last year! And that the entire place was being renovated! There is not enough room to explain it! Of course you pay before with out seeing! No refund!! Then 2 hours after being there!! The TV didn't work! I called them on my phone because.. you know they didn't have one! I told him it didn't work. GET THIS!!! HE tells me that the don't have service to the hotel. I said are you Fucking kidding me. The Fucking place is falling in around me!! You don't fucking tell someone or take it off rental till complete?? Took everything I had in me not to beat some respect into these people Nothing

The carpet was dirty. Very rundown for the price that we paid.

Not much Wi-Fi was insufferable. Bathroom smelled. Hallways were gross. Bed was ridiculously cheap.

    NOTHING Everything nasty stink dirty

  • Engine customer Jul 2024

Location Bathroom was still extremely dirty such as pubic hairs in the tub. Strands of hair hanging off shower wall. Poop on the toilet. Sink has stuff on it. Wifi wasn't working. Said they fixed it but I couldn't connect at all. When I spoke to them about it they made me feel like I was lying to them about not being able to connect. They claim to be soundproof. That cant be any further from the truth. I heard everything with the people next to me. They need some serious improvement.

Location was near the event I was going to. Had a coffee shop nearby for morning brew. Plenty of parking. King sized bed that was very comfortable. The toilet seat was broken. The facilities were under renovation and lots of construction debris was all around. No coffee pot in the room. Not many TV stations available.

my stay there was very nice. the staff was all very nice and helpful. the room was clean and comfortable. for the price, you can't beat it. is it a 5-star hotel for that price of course not. if you are looking for that for that price then that's on you but it's a good spot to hang your hat for the night. there was some work being done but it didn't bother me. it would be nice if they had a pool, gym, or both. but not bad for the price.

Plenty of parking and easy to find. Much needed renovations occurring, bathroom very mouldy, furniture dirty.

Comfortable bed. Shitty wifi, under construction and substandard property. Booked a room with a balcony, but all the balcony rooms are under construction. Felt cheated.

Absolutely nothing. The rooms were filthy; there was a ton of human hair under the covers when you pulled them back, holes in the wall, gross stains on the blankets and curtains, the tub was filthy, it smelled like cigarette smoke even though it was nonsmoking. The staff were super creepy, and when we told them we wanted to leave and get a refund they told us “you booked through booking.com so we can’t give you a refund because we have to pay them”, and they literally argued with us and tried to convince us to stay and try again. All in all, we stayed for about an hour before leaving to stay elsewhere. We felt super unsafe and uncomfortable. WE DO NOT recommend anyone staying in this hotel ever!
