Check in was not that bad. We had no issues, there are some cosmetic maintenance issues, but it really did not affect our stay.
-
Would definitely recommend and stay there again.
-
Overall we had a good stay. The hotel does not have a breakfast option and the lobby area is fairly sparse, but the rooms were quite nice and the beds were very comfortable.
-
It is still a little strange checking in to a kiosk. No one really at the desk. Have to call the attendant or see a staff member.
-
For the first time, I checked in the vestibule with a live attendant on a check-in screen machine. The process was fine, just different.
-
Convenient location. Electricity set up way behind the times for modern devices. Only close to bed socket separated from wall. Carpet everywhere instead of more sanitary floors. Only coffee station in lobby had no milk. Virtual check in too impersonal plus inadequate speaker system caused speaker’s words to break up.

This was a very nice place, clean and comfortable. The virtual check-in process was a little weird but it actually worked fine and probably is more efficient for the company. But I wasn’t sure if it would have been easy to connect with an employee if there was a problem.

Not a bad spot for a quick overnight. Hotel and room was clean.
-
There was a virtual check in machine that was a terrible experience. I couldn’t hear what the screen was saying, the volume was too low and the person (?) on the screen could not make the volume louder. The lobby door was locked so I couldn’t access an actual live person. When a human came to assist the experience improved exponentially! The person was kind, friendly and helpful.
-
The was comfy, coffee was good, but checkin was challenging because the person on the screen put her hand in front of her mouth and I could barely hear her! I asked her to speak louder and she couldn't or wouldnt!

There was no breakfast the location was OK

It took a couple of tryout to have the cards assigned to our room. But, look, for the price, that was okay. The lady in video chat was very nice. The room itself was clean. So, if you just need a room to sleep, that is more than okay for the price.

The front desk lady was very nice and accommodating and told me I'd get a full refund but the general manager denied my refund request.

I hated the check in system

Room was very nice! Really liked the windows seat, not sure if it's a feature in every room, but was by far my favorite. Staff was nice when available. Bathrooms seem a bit outdated, but all in all a nice hotel and nice rooms. Great location for walking around and getting places like Byrne Dairy or Tops grocery store. I liked my stay and experience!

Stayed on the 1st floor with a service dog. The room smelled awful - like wet dirty dogs, and my dog is cleaned weekly and doesn't smell at all. Even she noticed the smells and was sneezing. The price was cheap so I didn't expect much but the air conditioner did not work at all, not even the fan so it was hot in the room, making the smells worse. Tried to call the front desk - phone did not even get a ring tone, besides there was no one at the desk at check in because check-in is electronic on a monitor in the lobby. There are NO real pepole to talk to here. The TV was on when I entered the room for the first time which was odd to me, but then I realized why when I tried to turn it off - it doesn't turn off at all - AND, you can't unplug it becuse the plug is somewhere unaccessible! The carpeting was just about worn through in places, stained along with the walls and the bathtub but the bed was okay, comfortable and had the entire mattress wrapped in a protector covering. I did get a couple little bites but didn't see any bed bugs or bed bug markings anywhere. Take your chances I guess - you get what you pay for. :(

Great location and a good price. It's an old faculty and could use some upgrades. We could hear people walking down the hall and had a noisy neighbor.
-
bathroom fan didn't work, only1 light worked in the room, no tv service and no one at the desk to report the problem too. Very dissatisfied

Would have left if we had not been desperate for a place to stay, lucky for them. Peeling wallpaper, shower did not drain, mouse traps. The worst part is we were in town for an event so unfortunately on top of all of this we paid almost $200 for the night. They didn’t even have decent coffee.
