The Cayuga Inn at the Finger Lakes

The room was dirty. Cockroaches everywhere and stinks so bad. Staff looked high. Book any other hotel you can because this experience was TERRIBLE!!!

Hotel looked nothing like photos that were posted. Opened door to room, turned around and walked out.

Very dirty and run down. Staff was helpful.

Room is in terrible disrepair. The review I read about rusted to holder and mold on the wall and ceiling in the shower? Dead on point. After already changing rooms the front desk guy did at least come wash our tub of all the left over hair but overall it was just really bad .

The room was dirty, long black hair in the tub,I have short white hair. The window was not clean, half of it was dirty. Other people staying there were loud at all hours. Loud barking dogs. I could go on & on but what difference would it make? I would NOT recommend this place to my worst enemy.

We checked in at 4 p.m. after attending an event and only stayed long enough to sleep for a few hours. Although checkout wasn’t until 11 a.m., I was ready to leave by 7 a.m. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again.

We didn't even get to the front door of the"lobby" and were leary. Gave it a shot anyway. The carpeted stairs going to the second floor were stained and smelled like urine. We went inside the room and the bedding had cigarette burns in it. There was hair in the sink and a dead cockroach stuck to the wall. We immediately turned around and left. Do not book here, ever! 1 month later and we are still grossing out from just walking in the front door. Seriously, run far away from this place!

Very outdated. The hot water in the shower was all messed up. Pictures do not look like how it shows. A lot of low income hanging around outside and in the lobby. NOT WORTH WHAT WE PAYED FOR 1 night

Room was dirty still. Black mold in the bathroom shower area. The toilet paper holder was rusted. Room floor was nasty. Also the bathroom door was dirty as well. The room was out dated. Crack window as well. The only good thing was the ac work and no bugs. Breakfast was a total joke. Frozen waffles and white bread and one type of cereal. Coffee was also bad. The room should have be $25 instead of $90. Would never go back.apps the picture online are a lie and the the same place.

It was so bad I payed online went and check into room and looked at our room walked out immediately! I didn’t even care about my money back I just beat feet out of there!

Although the front desk was a nice man….the property is very outdated and dirty. The bedroom sheets had hair on them and the tub was filthy. Also a roach crawled across the wall. We did not even feel comfortable using the bathroom to shower or eat there.

Room was filthy. Hair all over the bathroom. Linens were very stained. Ended up not even staying. Worst money spent. We get a room in auburn maybe once a month so we can hang out in town drink and no one worry about driving. Uber from my house is more than just getting the room normally. But this time wasn’t worth it. We thought we would try new spot. Biggest regrets on that.

From the moment I pulled into the parking lot, it was clear this hotel was not being maintained to an acceptable standard. There were multiple individuals loitering outside who appeared to be engaging in suspicious activity, making me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. The unpleasant odor began in the lobby during check-in and became even worse throughout the property. The hallways smelled strongly of urine and feces, to the point that it burned my eyes and irritated my throat. When I entered my room, it was dirty, poorly maintained, and filled with the same overpowering odor. The bathroom door was locked, leaving me with no access to the bathroom. Within minutes, I began developing what appeared to be bug bites or a rash. After spending less than 10 minutes in the room, I returned to the front desk and explained that I could not stay due to the conditions. Instead of showing concern, I was met with, “Are you serious?” As I was leaving, a man in the hallway yelled at me to give him a charger, further reinforcing my safety concerns. I immediately returned my room key and left without staying overnight. I am disputing the charges because the room was unsafe and unsanitary. I cannot recommend this property.

Breakfast area was very small with only 1 table. Did not stay for breakfast. Rug in room was filthy. Had to wash my feet after walking on the rug and that was after I took a shower. Washcloth came back gray. I did take a photo of washcloth. For some reason my computer won't import my photo from my phone. TV was plugged into a dead outlet. Had to relocate TV plug to get TV to work. Bed was comfy and A/C worked well. Bathroom had an underlying scent of urine.

Bed bugs…. Stink to high heaven…. The floors are disgusting, soap scum in the tub.

It's an old Days Inn that hasn't had any updating. The AC worked and bathroom and beds where clean. Stayed there because the price was reasonable and the condition appeared better in the pictures. It needs a lot of updating.
