Red Roof Inn & Conference Center Chicago - Aurora/ Fox Valley

There were no table lamps, so I had to get out of bed to turn off the light. There was a small coffee maker and one (1) of regular and one (1) of decaffeinated coffee filters. So, since I drink regular, there was only enough for 1 morning and I had a two-night stay. So I didn't get to have coffee on the day of checkout. There was no breakfast or anything, either. The first day, I left for the day and came back in the afternoon. I thought they would at least give me some clean towels, but nobody came in to make the bed or leave any clean towels, so I had to use the same ones both days. The TV was very basic, with no channel information and no non-commercial channels and waaaay too many commercials. The best thing to watch was the news and weather. The hotel sent me a text to see if I was happy, and I completed their survey. Around 8 p.m., I got a call from the front desk, waking me up, but couldn't do anything about anything. That was a little weird! I probably will not stay there again - too expensive for what you don't get!

Ceiling leaked “like a sieve” during a major storm, linens were less than clean. Supplies (soaps and TP) were limited, staff was all but absent. Majorly disappointing

The room was clean. There was no staff. We were greeted by a kiosk, foreigner that I couldn’t understand. The parking was good. The air-conditioning was poor because there were people smoking outside and the smoke was coming into the room so it smelled terrible of cigarettes. The property was filthy dirty. The inside of the whole carpeting were dirty. The parking lot was dirty. The only thing that was clean there was my room, but the bathtub was questionable.

It was nice & clean. Only thing was loud kids running around hotel at nights early am.

Checked into a robot, ceiling leaking, no plug for the bath

The property was clean and the bed comfortable. However, the property has flaws, flooring coming up, broken mirror in my bathroom, the light over the bed flickered when you put it on. There were no lamps in the room. It looks like there was poor construction and they just painted over it. However, the price was right for this condition property, so there is that. I chose to speak with the person behind the counter instead of going through the kyosk upon checkout and they were really nice.

Great price and easy location. Hotel was very clean and we felt safe. Always a few people hanging out by the outside entrance, but they were friendly. Well-lit parking lot. Check-in was easy. Walls were nice and thick so you couldn't hear neighbors, but any noise in the hallway was very easy to hear. Well-lit parking lot was great, but also very bright light in the room. Room was very bare-bones. No soap in the dispenser, no coffee maker in the room. Shower took about 15 minutes to warm up and weak spray.

The dirtiest place in the world, bad service, and there is nothing, even water, and you need an hour to check in.

The air conditioner didn’t work. There were people drinking and smoking marijuana in the parking lot. The room didn’t have a room number and smelled like bleach. Absolutely horrible.

Many druggies in the parking lot and elsewhere on the property. Totally sketchy. I want a total refund ! I didnt even go to my room in it was that bad. The whole place is not safe to stay in.
