AC Hotel by Marriott Austin Hill Country

Great location. Rooftop bar on the 5th floor. There was a wedding party hanging out there.

Great stay, very comfortable.

Beautiful location. Price was high for a two bed room. Room was very clean until we opened lid on toilet and found a used condom and its wrapper and Kleenex in the toilet. Not sure how the cleaning staff missed this (room 205 on 9/11-9/13). Was shocked to see such high price for simple breakfast. I thought this would be included in price of room. We ate at another, less expensive restaurant close by.

Clean room, staff was amazing!

Noise from upstairs. Sounded like someone was waking with boots all night.

Everything was great.

The location. The view. The value. The free parking. Wish there was a way or there was information how to prevent lights from automatically turning on in the bathroom. Wish the glass door was quiet when closing and opening especially when partner was still sleeping. Wish the smoke detector was not placed right over the bed so the flashing was not disruptive to sleep.

It’s newer and clean. Located outside the city’s fast life. Was a good place to stay overall.

Hotel was nice and quiet. Only downside was the AC in room is motion activated, so if you enjoy a cold sleep, don’t expect it here. If you also have sensitivity to smell, that could cause migraines, I would suggest finding another hotel. I’m not sure if it was plug ins, or diffusers, but the strongest smelling hotel I have ever been in. It gave me one of the worst migraines I have ever had. It was a rough stay. Otherwise, nice staff!
