My room smelled so good when I came in, not like synthetic air freshener that was covering something up, it just truly smelled amazing and was so inviting from the moment I opened the door. I don’t usually sleep well while I’m away from home and I don’t usually sleep very well when I’m at home either, but I slept really well last night. The bed was so comfortable. The food this morning was great, I was super excited about the breakfast burritos that I didn’t know about when I went down there. There were lots of options for people who have varying dietary needs as well. The pool area was great. The murals and artwork they have as well as the sculptures and statues are all really cute. Everything was really tidy, I relax in the hammock for a while and got to enjoy both the hot tub and the pool. This was just a little staycation for me, but when I move away, I will be staying here whenever I visit. It is affordable and so close to downtown, everything was great.

Hotel was clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. Would stay again.

Staff was kind during check-in, but the facilities are not well-maintained. Our toilet was leaking, and in general, it just feels old and stuffy.
-
The hotel is connected to a sushi place called Machi, definitely check it out at your stay! Room is tidy, staff is super friendly and helpful and amenities are easy to find.

-
Its clean and affordable, and that's because the hotel was so close to everything! Didn't have to drive more than 10-15 min for most places.

Good stay with no issues.

This was a very quirky, art deco-ish hotel that was perfect for my short weekend. I definitely would recommend to anyone needing to stay at an inexpensive hotel that is immaculately maintained.

Our kids loved the hotel's quirky personality, and the pool area was excellent. The breakfast buffet also had a good variety of options, and the ladies working there were especially friendly and welcoming. Our room with two double beds was comfortable and met our needs. The location was very convenient, close to Congress Avenue, H-E-B, restaurants, and the expressway, making it easy to get around Austin. - The only real drawback was the musty, humid smell in the lobby and our room. It was especially strong in the lobby and bothered my allergies throughout our stay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and despite the odor issue, we would stay here again.
