Stayed here two nights. The first room I was in water would shoot out of the side of the toilet anytime it was flushed. The second night I woke up sweating because the AC was broke and not running. Parking is a rip off. Spent $35 to park here for 2 days. Didn’t try the breakfast because it was extra $$$. Next time I’m in the area I’d go to a different hotel.

Worst experience ever. Cars were broken into and AC was not working.

A lot of stores around.

Excellent

This might be dramatic but I think it’s really stupid to pay for parking at a hotel that you’re already paying to stay at. If parking needs to be paid it should be included in the hotel cost or at least warned. I planned to pay what the booking said and was shocked to find out I had to pay an extra $30 just to park my own car in an open, unprotected parking lot. If you’re planning to stay here please know they had me pay $15 per night for parking.

Hotel is pretty run down. AC units break often or don’t cool below 75 degrees. The people are friendly, but the hotel is just in bad shape.

Nice hotel for short stay.

This hotel was a perfect distance to my sons’ apartment, and it would be perfect if they didn’t charge $15/ day for parking. The place needs new TV’s as well, which they are working on, but the staff and service was excellent!

It’s more on a residential area not that many restaurants around it. Staff is really friendly. Bar was good, bartender friendly too. Breakfast was good could be a little better.
-
The bad thing is that the parking and thre breakfast are not free unfortunately

Alexis and Nia at the front desk!! I had to interact with them quite a bit because of problems with our room and they both were friendly and very helpful We were two seniors and one required oxygen 100% of the time. There was a phone in the room, but the line was dead and maintenance couldn’t fix it. This was disconcerting because our room was very far from reception. The fan only had two speeds: high and auto. It was hard to regulate the temperature and when the fan was on it blew hard straight onto the desk where we sat a lot. The room was ok but crowded for two people and two beds since we stayed for multiple days. The bathroom didn’t have as much counter space as I would have liked. There were more issues that I’ve forgotten by now (a few days into my return trip). But when we checked into our hotel in north Texas the next night the difference was dramatic! The cost was the same but Doubletree was lacking a lot in comfort.
