Hampton Inn & Suites Austin - Lakeway

This was our second stay at the Hampton Suites, we like it. But I have two suggestions: 1. get rid of cable and offer streaming; the channels are horrible and so is the universal remote and 2. PLEASE get stronger coffee.

Decent breakfast, clean area. Ice machine broken was an inconvenience

Please chexk yourbed and the room for desert bugs like spiders scorpions etc

On the down side, I was given a handicapped-accessible room that I didn't need or want and the staff wouldn't change it, there was a cockroach in the room (mostly in the bathroom) that I couldn't get rid of, and there was a large hole in one of the bath towels that I worried I would be charged for.

The best thing was the waffles. My room was one with a sofa and had not enough pillows, nor towels.

acknowledge us when we walked in and continued to type on the computer for 10 minutes until he finally asked us our name. There was no one else he was helping, just very rude! not good customer service. we stayed at a different hotel the next day and WOW what a difference! so friendly, helpful! We barely got in the door before we got a smiling hello!

The staff went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. Char at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. We had a great stay, clean room, comfortable bed, and wonderful breakfast! We will be back!

No hot water in the shower, and the thermostat was inoperable, and the fan ran all the time

Breakfast was just okay. Coffee was good. The location was good—tucked back off of 620; nice and quiet. The eggs and chicken sausage were not appetizing.

Remodeling this hotel was an issue.

The hotel looked secluded upon arrival whereas my family and I were concerned for our safety. Hotel was under renovations so could not enjoy the lobby nor breakfast. Our room had paint on the entry floor and bathroom. We did not get breakfast as there was no place to enjoy. Not satisfied with our stay.

Nice hotel in a great location! Perfect for a 3 night stay. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately when I was staying there it was in the midst of a major remodeling project. There was a lot of dust and noise. The first night a person was sitting in a pickup truck outside my window playing loud music. After 2 hours I finally notified the front desk and they promptly took care of the issue.
