The Christie Lodge - All Suite Property, Vail Valley/Beaver Creek

I really enjoyed staying here. The accommodation was huge, very comfortable and tidy. The location is close to shops and restaurants. Strongly recommend it!

When we checked in reception gave us incorrect instructions (I even questioned them on this) on where to park and we ended up in a dimly lit below ground parking garage that seemed like it was more for storage than for parking cars. The cleaning staff apparently felt it was the next guest's job to remove the coffee ground and filter from the previous guest's use of the in-room coffee maker. They also apparently felt that the wall-mounted hair conditioner pump bottle should be located at the sink and the wall-mounted body lotion pump bottle should be located in the shower. Interesting choice.

The night staff is very poorly trained with little knowledge and poor people skills. The day staff is adequate. This hotel was built in modules - be prepared to walk and climb stairs if your room is located on the perimeter of the property. The room that I had was a one-bedroom suite and had been nicely remodeled especially the bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped. Housekeeping does a nice job.

Clean but dated facility. Loud appliances, mediocre room lighting, limited amenities, old plumbing fixtures. Needs refurbishment.

Room was large clean and up to date. Price was good for location/area. Lots of free parking.

The entire facility was run down and many small repair projects were underway even while guests were staying nearby. The building also seems to be a failed design experiment modeled on something like an airport concourse or mall. Very strange. While having a suite room was nice with kids, the layout was also quite strange with the entry leading directly into the main bedroom and then a cramped awkward hallway that led to the living room where the second bed folded out of the wall. The room had poor ventilation and an ad hoc freestanding air conditioner.

Nancy and the entire reservation team are phenomenal, and make reserving stays and checking in so easy.

The value for money in the hotel was excellent, great parking and excellent location on the highway but quiet enough The room is built quite awkwardly, the AC is in the living room and it takes a lot of time to reach the bedroom

The Christie Lodge was a wonderful stay. Our suite included a kitchenette, bedroom, bath and balcony. Everything was immaculate clean and modern. Very classy. The area around Christie is beautiful and everything is within walking distance nestled in a valley in the Rockies.

Bad reception at the desk. This place is far too big and it is difficult to find our way around

Location was central and fine. A/c was only in living room. Bedroom had only fan and no ability to open window. All furniture was not comfortable at all. We left a day early even though we forfeited money.

The individual unit was clean and well maintained, but the lodge itself was dated and the carpet in common areas needed a deep cleaning. There was a hot tub inside, directly outside our room, which was actually pretty cool, but it was dated and the lattice wood around it was broken and appeared old.

Great staff, love your place even though I just slept there.

Unfortunately we ended up with a room that had a patio view of their parking garage foundation while the property didn’t appear to be anywhere near capacity. Overall the room was average although the patio view we envisioned was a concrete wall in our case. The lobby check in staff wasn’t very positive either. She did not appear to be very happy to help or care about our check in and initial experience with this location. While we didn’t complain which was on us, the property staff should also want to give every guest the best experience possible including a room with a view when available. Needless to say we will not return.

Liked the proximity to restaurants and shopping. Free shuttles. Easy parking. Easy to get to the room even though it’s a large hotel. Suites are spacious. The hot tub is nice. I like that when I asked for a room on the south side, my request was granted without drama. The decor shows its age. The staff is not too friendly. I didn’t get that welcoming feeling. The air conditioner was too loud, but I was glad to have it since it was unusually hot outside.

We came in very late and was welcomed by the front desk attendant and security who were so pleasant and helpful! The rooms were so cute and clean. Can’t wait to come back!

The rooms were clean and very nice. Whoever designed this place should have been fired. Get off the elevator and you still have to go up and down stairs to get to your room. Elevator didn't work on the last morning, yet we were told they were. Tell that to the person behind us. Air conditioner in the living room didn't reach the bedroom.

Great place to stay.
